I've been having such a blast the last couple of days playing D2 again. I love the social aspect, and the whole idea that we're working our way together, plowing through tons of monsters. Good times.
Hey folks. Pathell here; first question, what time zone is this forum on? lol. Sorry couldn't find that information. (Ok, I lied... I didn't look =/). But here in Okinawa,Japan i'm +9. I may rarely play with you guys except for on the weekends. On the weekends I don't sleep. Anyhow, moral of me writing this. I start a sorc. Talked to Krow about it got the "OK". It's a Light/Ice or Light/Light sorc. Not 100% sure yet. Not sure how the Light/Ice will work out without the made +skills gear since cheats have been taking out which i'm SO glad for :)). She is level 21 now and starting A3.
So, if you have any insight as to the Light/Light or Light/Ice spec, please, feel free, but be sure to send it to me in PM's.
Kirsty I'll be sure to add you to xfire as well. My xfire: (... Uhm.. yeah, wait for it... friggin beer...)
I know... I was expecting a full party running at a certain time of the day right from the start; but it seems it hasn't been organized yet. Since I thought it'd be organized, I also thought the party would be a higher level so I caught up to level 37 (you guys started without me). Anyway, I'll be waiting until everyone catches up -- hopefully it'll be organized by then.
I played with him a bit this morning. If a full party could be organized, we could do some tomb/meph/chaos runs to catch everyone up. It kinda seemed like Krow was wanting everyone to walk through the entire game on their own; but I think it's a lot more fun to play in a full group with all their skills.
Indeed. I've seen parties of 2-4 people -- which takes exponentially longer than a full group. I'm glad D3 will fix this issue by giving a party bonus; but not so much that not being in one is detrimental.
There also seemed to be a rotation on which individual would "rush" someone new. 1 on 1 rushing takes forever. A rushing time should be setup to get EVERYONE caught up. I wouldn't mind doing that since it could be done on MF routes and wouldn't take long.
Anyway... I'm free almost anytime for full party D2 playin'. Set it up.

Can't be done, because 1 guy misses it and everyone gets pissed because they were expecting something quicker, but if we do it this way, no one expects it fast, and when it is fast everyone is happy.
Also, 3-6 of us are in Act 5 now. So if you need a rush just message me on xfire, don't know why I have to message you to check on you.

This can't be done, because of timezones and people's inability to check the forums once a day. Parties of 4-6 are completely fine!

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
It's not fast atm -- it's been 3 days and you've just now finished normal. We communicate with messages -- I don't know you in RL and we don't have telepathy.
If the timezones are that big of a deal then they shouldn't be bothering with the group. The timezones on North America continent aren't that vast. Now if they simply don't have free time then that's different -- in which case different shifts are made. Personally, I like larger groups; so whichever shift is larger is what I'll jump in if I know when they are. If it's not larger than 4 then I might as well just get my brothers to play with me -- we would have better communication than a forum party.
Now if they don't check the forum, use xfire, or add friends on bnet; then they simply don't want to play with anyone.
hey guys I just join the group and I'm making a conc baba, so add my account hnk, im going to need some help to catch up to u guys, so if anyone can rush me it would help alot.

In the morning there was a party of four, then in midday a party of 6, and the a party of four again, so a lot of people are on.

As for characters. I dont think we have a single Sorc. which is surprising:confused:
Edit: nvm we have two but the more active sorcs the better.
