Sorry for the double post but WHAT? You think that the BAGS were a CHALLENGE of a game? Thats just stupid. Oh yea I gotta walk down this corridor to kill a huge ass demon but lets make sure that my bags aren't full so i can pick up his loot! Awww yea, so challenging, it thrills me every time i have to abandon some equipment. Yea, thats a great system.
Yes it is, you are lying to yourself if you say it's not a challenge.
Diablo had a unique inventory.. they should not change it to like how WoW's inventory is, that'll be copying WoW/other games. Just stick to what it originally was. kthx.

Such a challenge to click on my Tome of Town Portal if I don't feel like dropping stuff and sell/stash instead. Jeez, that was rough, good thing I made it...I was getting worried.

This is part of the game, you need to choose what you need because it's not a world where people have infinite space and can store items in banks.

I don't mind this side of it, what I do mind is the fact that after slaughtering a horde of demons i have to take a break because my character is overburdened. Sure it might be unrealistic and it will definetly change the game, but in the end it interfered with the gameplay, which was intense and non-stop....but had to be put on hold because of an inventory flaw.
With the endless amount of mobs that come at you in this game, as shown on the gameplay trailer, you're going to need all the bagspace you can get. They obviously changed it because of that reason, they said you're going to be killing a ton more mobs than you're used to, and more than likely be getting a ton more items than you're used to. Shoot, I run out of bagspace in WoW with 86 bagslots
I think inventory Tetris is part of what makes it Diablo, I don't like it but I hope they keep it
Exactly my point, you may not like it but this is the point of it, adding a feeling to Diablo that makes Diablo what it is. It makes you hero look more like a normal person, hell, he has difficulty to organize his items. Tetris inventory adds to the game.

As far as I know, the mobs in diablo3 drop WAY less items than diablo 2 so your argument doesn't work.

Because a backpack looks like a rectangle with lots of grid squares, shoot if they really wanted it to be realistic they'd get rid of the grid in there, so you can freely move around the items to fit them together like puzzle pieces!
Well according to some of the screencaps from the demo video, the tetris inventory is gone.
So...
That's why I made this thread, for the same reason some people made a thread about the graphics. Game is not done and is still subject to change, if we say nothing, even a beta might be to late to change an inventory system. Beta is meant for bugs, not features.
Sorry if I don't enjoy filling my entire inventory with 5 weapons that drop off the first 30 things I kill.
Agreed, certain things should be stackable like potions, but other things shouldn't. So, where is the option for both? Kind of a shitty poll when it has no medium, no offense.
Then diablo is not a game for them obviously, they need to go back to the easy and happy world of their other favorite game IMO.
Yes it is, you are lying to yourself if you say it's not a challenge.
Yea D2's bags are what made it challenging. We obviously aren't D2 fans cuz we don't like the bag system. How blasphemous.

You obviously don't know old diablo system because you are talking about bags, what the hell.

You obviously take an inventory system way to seriously.

Inventory is a very important part of the game because it is one of the thing people will have to use very often in the game.
