It seems that there is too many complaints about the difficulty in inferno, and i feel really sad that it is going to be nerfed in 1.0.3.. So I have been thinking about if there could be an option to remove the nerf like ICC/DS in WoW..
My idea was that if u have the nerf on in inferno difficulty you do not get Nephalem Valor and when u don't have the nerf on u get Nephalem Valor.. That was 1 of my ideas..
Or u could make 2 different buffs, 1 that is weaker and 1 that is stronger when u have nerf on or off..
I know u can get Nephalem valor when u kill champs/elites, in any difficulty but most of the fans wanted a challenging game and there they have it.. pls don't nerf inferno..
The QQ'rs just want a quick fix or a fast clear of the game.. We're supposed to play the game as long as Diablo 2: LOD..
Or you could NOT be overdramatic like most people out there and think that Blizzard "nerfing Inferno A2/3/4" will reduce the damage to be challengeing and fun instead of thinking it means "That mob that did 100k damage will now do 5k!" That's stupid.
Seriously, they said they're going to lower it to smooth out the difficulty curve, right now there's two groups of people:
Full Tank Melee doing 5k dps but reducing all damage by 95% just so they dont die instantly.
Glass Cannon Ranged that instead of having a mix of offensive and defensive stats, they go like "Well, if im going to be one-shotted no matter what i do, i might as well go all out dps and GRAVEYARD ZERG THE DUMBASS"
Want to play any other way? Like being a ranged that can kill stuff and take a hit or two like the rest of the game? You cant. Want to be a dps barb/monk? lol you cant.
They're going to reduce the frustation that comes with Inferno, not turn it into the new normal mode.
Forum QQers are so overdramatic whenever Blizzard announce something.
PS: Diablo 2 wasn't hard. Ever. And people sitll played it THANKS TO YEARS OF PATCHES. This is Diabo 3's first patch. Of many.

you really have no memory don't you?
Blizzard said BEFORE the game went live, that they were not able to finish inferno, and the amount of people who did play it was so little to conclude that the difficulty was just right, or too high for what they intentionally wanted, so they put it at a specific difficulty while waiting for actual players to give feedback and to see wether it was too hard or not, turns out a lot of people found it was way too hard past act 1, barbarians and monks dying in 1 hit with a lot of res/armor, and many affixes being simply ridiculous combined (invuln/shielding/Horde/fast) thus they did exactly like they said, tuning the difficulty so it would fit what they had in mind first. if you were one of the only one able to survive in inferno (as a melee because ranged is just fine since you can avoid being hit completly most of the time)grats to you, but inferno as it is now is way harder than they intended it too be.
also you solution for removing the nerf is ocmpletly ridiculous, I play the difficulty as it was intended and for that I can,t get NV, yeahh right....
It seems to me the more sensible thing to do, as opposed to nerfing enemies, would be to buff our items. People want overpowered "diablo-esque" items (I know I do....runewords anyone?) ....so why not satisfy the people that are struggling with the overpowered Inferno enemies and the people that want OP items?
The only issue I see with Inferno is some imbalance for non-ranged/melee classes.

only thing though this isn't even a full patch (only 1.0.3 the first ''real'' patch wil be 1.1)
when you play act 2 inferno as a barb you know it's not right. I finally pushed to mid act 2 with ease, it required 12k dps, 10k armor and 900 resist (I only move foreward if I can farm champions). Without my resist I died too fast. I farmed butcher for weeks, and rarely see good drops. The only thing I care in this patch....... I will finally see ilvl 63 in act 1. It matters because even though it's only 2 %, I'm glad to know that during all my farming, I will see item that help me progress. The difficulty of mobs is being aimed toward melee not range. Every single of those topic are made by range.

Any patch having any considerable number of changes is a patch in my eye. 1.03 not being named 1.1 is not my issue. Its only named 1.1 because it adds a major new gameplay element (pvp) while 1.03 is mostly changing the game as we know it.

I think more OP items is the solution.
