We'll according to the ESRB ratings Diablo 3 is rated M for mature (17+), but does that not include 17?
Being a 17 year old I noticed I was unable to enter the beta sweepstakes due to "not being of age".
I was wondering if that had to do with the contest or with not being old enough for the game.
Although I hope D3 comes out after April (when my 18th birthday is) because of school and my AP exams in May, if it happens to come out before then I wonder if I will have any trouble putting the game onto my blizzard account they day of release, and as well if people under 18 (specifically 17) have any chances of getting into the beta. Maybe somebody could bring this up on the official site (I have no active subscriptions).

17 year olds can play M rated games, but to enter a sweepstakes you have to be 18 years of age for legal reasons.
Actually nobody cares, it's just lobies and laws and stupid shit. Just ask your 18yo friend to buy things for you.
I mean my nephews are 11 and play M games... they also play hockey. In the end, Hockey is the thing that bother me the most for how it makes them aggressive.
I feel your pain OP. I have AP exams in May and turn 17 in March. So I don't mind D3 coming out in March. However, I much rather play it now since I've been playing the Beta OVER AND OVER AGAIN

This. Gambling what not.
nah, it means you don't deserve it and shall send it to me!
Pal, I mean no offence but....let's release the game as soontm as possible and you just wait a bit, ok?
Here in Italy age limit should be 16, but it won't really matter anyway.
