One thing i'd like to see implemented in D3 is monster customisation. It's inevitable that an analogy with D2 is drawn. In D2, the monsters spawned looked like a bunch of identical twins (same height, same animations, same reactions). I'm aware it may cost a lot more resources (a.i scripts, 3d models and stuffs) but it will be a nice addition if there is some randomness in the common monsters on screen.
Also, the videos from Blizzcon were impressive but one thing I dislike about games in general is repetitive animation (for e.g. the way herbs move under the wind, the sand storms, etc are all repetitive). We may not notice the repetition when we are engaging the enemy but it will be a definitive plus if some more variability is brought in the environmental animation as well.
i totally agree with you on this one.
there should be more models for mobs and alot more different animations for they why they attack and move or run away.
and that is not only for mobs but for the characters also.
i hope they have alot more attack animations and maybe even more animations for the same skill.
it would get old pretty fast if there is only one animation for one skill.
they can just change the angle which they attack or swing their weapon, etc.
it is just bells and whistles but it is always the bells and whistles that separate a good game from a great game.
and since Blizzard is known for the polish that their games get, i hope D3 gets more love in that aspect.
and can we have the mobs look more scary.

Just my three cents.
