(I am not sure if this has been asked) but I was wondering what the song is in the Diablo 3 trailer? Where can I get it? the link to the trailer is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhrsIF6ymVE
Am I the only one that didn't notice the woman even after watching it 1000 times?
Lol, not sure, but did you hear her ? Biff that woman in that trailer makes Diablo 3 sound like it's meant to be a game on Mythology and clearly it's not. Even though I'm sure she's not supposed to be an Egyptian singer, she sounds like it.
I thought you were talking about the gameplay. That's usually the music everyone talks about.
Yeah I noticed the chick in D3. I thought it was pretty fitting though for a 2 minute teaser. If it was like that while I'm playing the game I'd be pretty annoyed.
I'm hoping the bulk of Diablo 3's gameplay soundtracks mostly switch between Ambient and Musical with no lyrics ever apparent. You know, Baldur's Gate 2 style.

Been a while since I played Soul Reaver 2 or Baldur's Gate 2 but from what I remember they had pretty eerie music that fit.
Most definitely, played Soul Reaver 2 a few years ago and the same for Baldur's Gate 2. A month ago though, I decided to reorder the Baldur's Gate 2 collection again since I never finished Throne of Bhaal. So yeah I'm currently in ToB after completing SoA, and let me tell ya, the music is even better in ToB than SoA, Watcher Keep Dungeon is worth the price alone. Only paid $5.00+ for the collection brand new. I always order the older games off of Amazon, amazing prices and fast shipping from various merchants.
For some reason this new music fits a lot more. Its more...... "tragic". However, the best non-singing Diablo music is still the last Diablo Cinematics, where Tyrael throws the sword in the WorldStone. That music was epic.
I love the music for DIII. Its got a really nice Jewish type of feel to it - similar to the music they used in the movie Munich. And of course, Jewish is great for Diablo, cause thats where all the Christian stuff comes from.
If you downloaded the artwork trailer, they have similar music playing in it and it doesn't have any other sound. So you can just use some kind of movie-editing program and just save the audio of it... actually, I might just do that myself. I'll post it here and maybe somewhere else too if I get it.
After hearing the trailer music again, I really can't believe they didn't use a better sound track. If I was blind folded and had to guess what game this sound track would fit best, Diablo would have been the last to come to my mind. They should have used a more dark sinister symphonic track. I think the best part of the revealing was when the guy with the guitar came up on stage and played the main theme of Tristram.

Or Soul Reaver 2, you play that one Daemero ?
Yeah I doubt the ACTUAL gameplay music will have lyrics in it. They just wanted the announcement video to draw as much hype as possible.
Yeah I agree, and that's what is to be expected, so was that a Yeah to playing Soul Reaver 2 ? or just to acknowledge my statement, or both ?
Both.

What they have so far isn't 'lyrics'. She's not actually saying anything, she's just using her voice as an instrument.
Its like trying to say that you don't want violins in the music because you're afraid that you'd be too tempted to sing along to them.
