The animation changes above the monsters head but that doesnt mean they overlap and stack, it could mean they each rune overwrites each other and only one palm can be placed on each mob. Do you have actual data showing that they do stack?
if one has the lightning and another monk has the fire rune, it goes to a purpleish color for example, and if it didn't stack from different players you'd basically nerf any group that brings 2+ monks... same goes for any kind of dot mechanic that multiple players can have active at the same time, e.g. toxin gem, which does damage for each player individually as it should.

Hello everyone at Diablofans, would anyone care to explain how exploding palm mechanic works with multiple monks in the group?
-Does the EP stack?
-Can you have different runes activated at a single mob?
-Does the damage stay at 4x100% if 4 monks were to apply EP on a single mob?
Thank you:)
To expand on this. Can you have two monks using the same rune stack EP on the same mob?
