Hey guys, i am back again with a other one of my videos
I have seen a few threads asking about how to gear a "t6 endgame" barb, and this is my take on it.. all the while without relying on gimmicky mechanics which gonna get broken when the shine gloves get fixed... (~perma wotb/IP and "unlimited" fury)
And i don't think i need to comment on SoH, although its a fitting name..
The basis for this build is to stack +fire damage, and +hota damage while still maintaining just enough eHP to survive at your chosen torment level. The key item which really makes this build shine is the Cindercoat chest, which will let you pretty much hammer away nonstop while using a generator attack here and there.
I will be linking to the basic version of this build at the bottom of this post which i recorded on day 3 of RoS.
If you manage to find the full Immortal king set as i have, you can forgo the generator altogether and fit something else of your liking on your spell-bar. And when the fix for the Gloves of Worship comes, you just trade them in for a pair of fire damage magefist's for even more damage
Ingame inventory buffed stats for the newly arrived barbs which are blinded by these meaningless stats: (t6 setup)
Damage: 948k (+29% HotA damage, +90% fire damage and +29% elite damage)
Toughness: 15.5 mil
Healing: 44k
It's good to see a barb being able to solo T6. I personally have trouble surviving in T2 against elites because my toughness sucks (4mil) but my dps is 939k with hellfire/leroics exp rings. I used to play HoTA spec but then I started WW and love it since it will be tough to swap back. In your youtube link I pointed out you having x3 shrine buffs, I know that only +15% AS is the only good one.
Nice vid +1 for the music. Using something similar on T5 atm but without the IK set not that lucky yet. No burning axe of Sankis for your offhand? Unity ring+templar token that makes him immortal is really OP made T5 go from challenging to fairly easy for me.
I made it my mission to kill everything without skipping anything, something i regretted big time when this t6 rift turned out to be the knock-back combo from hell.. (horrible clear time)
Anyway i've proven my point -> conclusion:
You can perma hammer away with full ik set bonus + cindercoat, just like i said i might add
Now i just need to stack more dps for even the unlucky runs to be effective time-wise on torment 6
Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to find the IK set? I've yet to find a single piece and I've played every day since the expansion came out. Should I not be doing t1 rifts for gear? Anyway, this build looks really fun and I have a cindercoat. Might give your build a try.
There's lots of questions here, can OP answer them.
How do you get 15mil toughness? I have more vit than you but I only have 5.6mil and nearly double AR with 3 at 950.

Do you think that a burning axe would be good instead of that mad monarch or do you arleady have enough % fire dmg?
