Thanks Typho for a really nice build. I'll have to try this out after finding a suitable 2h mace on the AH. I'm a bit bored with the vanilla dual wield style (not ww).

It's a good time to buy, I couldn't find a suitable mace but ended up with a 1250 DPS pole-arm with 112% crit damage, 400 STR, and other non offensive stats for 100K. I'm sure people with a normal budget can find something much better and this weapon puts me at 90K buffed with my build.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
If you use Weapon Master Passive, Polearm is not very good, as the 15% IAS brings nothing for this build, as Rend and Charge rely solely on pure Weapon Damage not DPS, and IAS only pushes DPS. So Axe or Mace is the way to go because of highest possible Weapon Damage and 10% Crit from Weapon Master which directly pushes Weapon Damage. So a ~1100DPS Mace is as good as your 1250DPS Polearm Damage-wise (not talking 'bout DPS here, remember ) when using Weapon Master Passive in this Build.
Well duh, but the best mace I could afford at the time had 40% less crit, 200 less str and about 300 less dps, do the math

I found a 1250dps 2h mace with ~320str and 198% crit dmg. Gained ~8k dps over my standard dw (non-ww) build. Lost 10k hp but running with both rend:bloodlust and revenge:provocation provides enough healing for me to use 3 damage passives.
this build looks crazy but it looks like you need a 2h for it. saving my gold for the patch, I'm looking forwerd to frenzy build next patch (with hellfire ring) it's gunna be gg, if I find a 2 hander I'll be trying this out forsure
using this build in 1.0.5 only changing leap rune to the one that adds a stun to it and the war cry rune to the one that gives health and health regen and its working great.
2mil is quite expensive for such a belt. Though this isn't really "the price check thread".
I'm interested in hearing how people are doing with this build since 1.0.5. Especially the sprint variant (as after all, anything that isn't running at minimum 40% increased movement speed is not going to be anywhere near as efficient as sprint/whirlwind). I still highly doubt it would beat sprint/whirlwind when it comes to clear speeds but I'm at least interested to see if it can come close or not.
Obviously better. I would keep searching though. Items that have a bid on them are a good way to go, especially if you're not a price expert. Use Kripp's guide to bid on the last 5 seconds to potentially screw-over people who don't know how the bidding system works.
But again, please let's not turn this into smart-AH-usage thread. The stats you need for this build aren't very different than any other, except maybe being allowed to go a bit more glass-cannon-ish.

No not quite as fast as WW/Sprint, adds about 15-20 min to a MP 5 act 3 full clear to me, but is very viable still. Wth 5% or more LS it really starts to shine in survivabilty, even with low AR and armor like I have atm. Right now my rend crits have ticked for up to 260k, bash crits for 600k and charges crit for 700k with no WotB and I'm still well short of my end goal for gear. Its also a very good spec against Uber bosses
Either way WW builds with OP are more OP than 1.0.4 WW atm so really the only way to go if you want go with absolute best spec available that is the way to go. If you love 2 hander, board as hell of WW, or don't want to change again when OP gets nerfed next patch (which anyone using it with WW knows it will) then this is very much a viable alternative.
I don't think 1.0.5 barbs with overpower are stronger than 1.0.4. Even though at MP0-2 it's easier than 1.0.4, I'm slower because I lose WotB much more often. Even with overpower momentum and even at higher monster power so monsters have more HP I still can't keep it up as I could in 1.0.5 (though when I played a bit in a group on MP4 I could keep come somewhat close to 1.0.5 uptime on WotB). Of course the coefficient nerf didn't only affect fury, it also affected life on hit, which I had to replace with lifesteal that is much less effective than what life on hit used to be even with quite good gear.
Getting the same healing as before is quite costly, and getting the same WotB uptime is virtually impossible (even with full attack speed crit gear and overpower momentum I'm not sure you can compete with a 1.0.5 barb that never paid more than 10k for a single item in terms of WotB uptime).
By the way, what is "act 3 full clear"? If you mean clear everything from start to finish including all dungeons (which isn't very efficient), even for sprint barb it takes quite longer than that. If you mean alkaizer run then I'm still not sure as I haven't timed my runs (only measured 30mil exp/hour in 1.0.4 but that was with whirlwind disconnects etc and didn't count the total number of runs).
What use does this spec has for ubers? I mean, the main skill here is just not use-able. Rend is nice but you can do a lot more damage if rend is not your only fury spender. For example sprint/whirlwind variant that has rend (where warcry used to be in 1.0.4), or even HotA builds that mix in rend. Bash/rend combo is simply not something I'd call optimal or even good for an ubers killing spec.
