I am am playing furious charge speed build and have emulated chainers build and gear as much as possible. I am having a hard time staying alive in TX rifts and bounties. I destroy Torment VIII. Is my damage too low? My leap quake barb is way less geared and laughs at TX. Right now elites melt me almost immediately.
Thanks for looking at the thread pal. Are there any numbers that I might shoot for as far as the defensive stats you mention? Good call on the Unity, that was an oversight on my part
This build has always been about killing before getting killed. It is very squishy unless you have the gear for it. I'm assuming this is solo play and not split bounties or group T10 (cause of the unity talk). Even with mostly ancients and pretty high gem levels, there are instances where I will die in split bounties if I'm not careful, like the fire chains affix.
Yes, Vile Ward will help with dps. More targets hit the more damage you do. I would go with that instead of gold wrap. To help with survivability, I would go the route of the GR build with esoteric gem and ancient parthan defenders. Also need more crit chance on jewelry slots and helm.
Not sure how the above poster resets WoTB without boulder toss. Yes, it fulfills the F&R spending part, but the main role of boulder toss is to reset the cooldown on WoTB so you can have it at 100% uptime.
If you are still dying with GR build, you just need better gear. Nerve of Steel passive also helps a lot. Get it with a hellfire ammy or switch out pound of flesh for it. Will slow down your runs, but dying slows down your runs more.
Yeah I never liked that build because of hitting 2 enemies meaning I ended up just standing there waiting for another charge, while the enemy smashed me. Died so many times and I was running pretty much all ancient and really well rolled gear.
If you don't get gold, you are in trouble. If you don't hit a single enemy, Or 3 or more enemies per furious charge, you don't get enough cool down on furious charge to hit again. So you hit 2, get 4 seconds off, and waits for 6 seconds for another charge. So you just hit with boulder toss with pathetic damage while your gold damage wears off and your armor bonus. Then you end up slow and weak. And most of the time you are following behind other who have cleared everything so you don't get the explosion of money everywhere from hoarder. It's just a pain to play with unless you have awesome gear and you make sure you never attack 2 enemies by themselves.
That's why I made the better T10 barbarian speed rift build. It's pretty much a copy of the One Punch Monk. But for that you need some decent ancients though. Ancient Legacy set, Ancient Blade of Tribes, Ancient Dread Iron, and Ancient Skular's. But if you get those, any of the other ancients will do in the other slots.
You would be better off with might of the earth and leaping.

Your templar has no Unity ? So, your Unity is worthless right now.
For T10 your toughness, life and AllRes are pretty low.
Maybe run some defensive LegGems instead to help you survive ?

Well, double Unity should help quite a bit.
I'm running T8 ATM with 18Mil Toughness, 666k Life and average AR about 1300+.
Your base damage is rather low, too.
I recommend to slow down, run lower difficulties, respec Passives and 1 LegGem
for more toughness and try to determine the right current difficulty for your barb.
