Did anyone notice the white border on the left of the content that appears on the home page? I didn't test it with IE or any other browser but in Firefox the scrollbar shifts the centered background.
My suggestion would be to simply adjust the left part of the background: add 1 pixel on the left and shift it right one pixel. The problem with that is when there's no scrollbar, the flow between the background and the header image will be missing 1px, but I don't think it's noticeable and the home page will most likely always have a scrollbar due to his length...
Just a thought, the middle of the background could be a dark color instead of white, this way the border would be less "flashy", and perhaps even unnoticable.
Haha yea, especially since it's white... on black and dark colors.
I'll get you an adapted background Seth, it might not be the absolute solution but it should work.
By the way, are we supposed to see that background on all pages? Because I only see it on the home page.
When they were originally making the design, I think we talked about something to the effect of not putting it anywhere but on the Homepage to avoid lag because of the image. Initially, it was on every page, but then people starting reporting lag issues in this forum... So now it's just on the Homepage
omg it really is a breach in teh Dfans continuum! we are all going to die!!

Well I don't know if they did something to fix it but I don't see it anymore, unless I zoom out I get it on the right. Doesn't seems like alot of people get it, so that's just a minor issue.

As far as I know they're tinkering with the site mechanics as well. I've seen some experience bars appear and disappear out of nowhere.

Yeah, now that it's pointed out, I can see it, too. I'm using Chrome 4.0 and I have it on the left.
I wished you didn't say it, now I can't stop staring at it
...Those are my thoughts.
