She uses all ice based attacks and an ice armor. She might not fair very well, but who know's (none of us know what challenges await), I just like that she is completely themed out, and hey if it doesn't work well, I can change her as needed.
It's what I like to call the "Who needs to aim?" Wizard build. It's based on a core of Magic Missile with the seeker rune (homing missiles) and an associated passive of Prodigy (4 arcane power gained whenever sig. spells deal damage). I also included teleport as a defensive skill so I can teleport around out of danger, flinging heat-seeking magic missiles around to damage my enemies and regain my Arcane power. Also featured are Hydra (with lighting rune for damage variety) and familiar (with cannoneer rune for aoe damage), dealing damage for me while I concentrate on staying away from enemies. When enemies get too close, I have included the ability to shift into an Archon to unleash a torrent of powerful spells then teleport out (via the teleport rune).
With a full battery of arcane power, I can launch Arcane Orbs fixed with the Arcane Nova rune to maximize their area of effect. See, who needs to aim?
The focus of this build is to increase the arcane damage done via Arcane Torrent and Arcane Hydras. This will be done by doing these things:
Magic Missle runed with Attunement combined with Prodigy passive to regain AP, in addition to Power of the Storm runed Storm Armor to reduce AP consumption
Glass Cannon passive, combined with both Familiar and Magic Weapon runed for increased weapon damage %
Arcane Torrent runed for Disruption to increase arcane damage of itself, and Hydra runed for Arcane damage
Damage of both Arcane Torrent and Arcane Hydra increased in potency via Arcane Dynamo passive, activated by spamming Magic Missile
I've tried to balance this build, fit for any tipe of player. Providing Mana & Life Regeneration, and Poison damage with summons like Zombie Dogs, Zombie Chargers with their respectives runes.
Feel free to try, and Hope i Get one Beta Key, to fix as i play!
This build focuses around prodigy abuse for tons of arcane power return when having to fight bosses and getting that moment to melt them with your ray of frost, it also gifts the wizard with the ability to control massive amounts of minions due to the chain frost novas upon death + rain of meteors. What makes my build boss viable is it gives you the control needed along with the defense versus heavy hitters AND the arcane pool to make ray of frost really shine when the situation arises to unload its full potential.
In other words you can walk into any situation with this build and handle it exceptionally, meanwhile still raining down pain and seeing some really high numbers from 'arcane dynamo' + intensifiedray of frost (335% damage)and a large arcane pool (excluding itemized bonus arcane). I would label this the ultimate frost/fire combo but I prefer energy armor for the bonus energy in place of a themed pick of ice armor
Essentially I feel like this build has a good combination of healing and offense to be a good solo build. I would certainly add a defensive spell when playing in a group, but I feel like I'll be leveling solo for a while at least. I'm really looking forward to testing it out.
This build works around manna-generation to sustain Ray of Frost and control of mobs through use of stacking slowing components to keep them at a distance using the Sorceress movement as a primary defense.
Knocking mobs back with wave of Force into Slow Time Bubbles should be a fun combination once the late game Mirror Images start being able to copy damage.
Demon Hunter. Focus is primarily damage and dealing damage to multiple targets. Elemental damage is a nice bonus however it's primarily focusing on splitting arrows into multiple shots and peircing through targets. Went with marked for death because the bonus damage plus contageon making it spread could blend very well with aoe killing. mark 1 kill one split 2 kill 2 split to 4 so on and so forth. *edited* sorry forgot to mention mines focused more on late game abilities and not getting abilities that fit for the per level requirements. required minimum level for complete build is 52.
Basically I don't want anyone, or anything to touch me. Most of the demons from hell are oozy, gross, and probably gaseous (not to mention violent and bloodthirsty). I need the sweet skillz to stop them in their tracks, slow them down, or blow them sky high! Hopefully all three at some point.
Oh yeah, I also have a spider. She eats baddies and her silk makes a fine set of mittens!
Electrocute: free resouce generator, runed with surge of power.
Ray of Frost: mainly single target spell.
Frost Nova: utility and increased damage.
Blizzard: main aoe spell.
Energy Armor: defensive, runed with increased resistances.
Teleport: utility.
Black Ice: since the build uses three ice spells, this is a good bonus.
Prodigy: resource generator.
Galvanizing Ward: self heals
For me, I just love AoE. I also just love the concept of Frost Nova > DAMAGE. Personally, I really am just hopeful that Dustin Browder will come out of the closet and say "And all the demons are taking terrible terrible damage" every time I roll through my rotation. I mean, who wouldn't?
Using Zombie Charger as main attack and Acid Cloud as main AoE. All other skills are runed to get maximum Zombie Fury, as well as the Circle of Life passive.
Zombie Charger is runed to get fire damage in concern if there will be mobs with high physic and poison resistant or immunity.
Okay, ,may not be the perfect build, or what I may even play first, but just something I came up with.
The build is for survivability, speed(quick attacks).
It seems like it would be fun to me because I liked frenzy in D2, just because it made you go so fast, and how you could use frenzy then another attack and keep the speed bonus for your other attack as well.

This is my solo Demon Hunter, focused around large AOE damage via Cluster Arrow and constant pressure with Elemental Arrow and Rapid fire via Preparation as a Hatred replenisher.
My skills are:
Hungering Arrow w/ Piercing Arrow
Elemental Arrow w/ Frost Arrow
Rapid Fire w/ High Velocity
Cluster Arrow w/ Loaded for Bear
Vault w/ Rattling Roll
Preparation w/ Punishment
The lower costing Hatred spenders (Elemental Arrow and Rapid Fire) are meant to do as much damage as possible which is why Rapid Fire has the skill rune that gives the arrows a chance to pierce and hit multiple targets and Elemental Arrow has the skill rune Frost Arrow so that the secondary arrows do 170% damage and slow the enemies hit, giving me more time to either regenerate my Hatred, or continue to deal damage.
Cluster Arrow is the primary source of large damage which is why Loaded for Bear is chosen as the skill rune - to just make it more devastating.
Hungering Arrow is the chosen Hatred generator because it's incredibly effective as a damage dealer, especially with the added bonus of extra piercing enemies with Piercing Arrow as the chosen skill rune.
Vault is the chosen defensive skill with the skill rune that stuns and knocks enemies back upon landing. This is effective for this build because you can wait in a spot for all the enemies to close in, vault away so they're clumped up and then fire Cluster Arrow at the large blob of enemies for maximum damage. This also works well with the other offensive hatred spenders due to the piercing nature of Rapid Shot and the extra arrows from Elemental Arrow.
Preparation is affixed with Punishment to allow for quick Hatred generation in tough spots.
Passives:
Vengeance - just so I have more Hatred to use, and so that the readily available health globes are serving multiple purposes. It's an all around good passive.
Sharpshooter - this passive is chosen so that hungering arrow is even more effective, but also because of the nature of the skill runes affixed to Rapid Fire and Elemental Arrow. Since it's a 3% chance every second, more arrows equals more chances to make use of that 3%. At the same time, there is that chance that Cluster Arrow will be able to make use of that 3%.
Perfectionist - this passive is chosen to help make vaulting around more viable during battle. I don't want to feel like I can't use Vault fairly regularly for fear of not having enough Discipline. At the same time, this will also reduce the cost of Preparation from 20 to 16, which means in the endgame I'll be able to use it more often and have more Hatred to deal damage.
There you go! My solo Demon Hunter build! Hope you enjoy!
This here I like to consider a neutral kind of build, easy for staying alive if needed, and gives enough crowd controlling in order to keep away and kill easily. :Thumbs Up:

Entangling shot for enemy slow down and generate hatred.
Rapid Fire together with preparation and shadow power aim at doing large amount of damage.
Smoke screen and vault were selected to maximize the surviving of DH in PVP.
Thanks!
Good luck to everyone!
Pretty much went as high of damage as possible, with only teleport as a sudo defensive spell. Exactly what you would expect for a glass cannon.
