Guys I just want to give you all a heads up on the Dervish and Sand Dweller One Shot reflect mechanic. I have been testing out the Shadow Mantle set with the new Holy Point Shot quiver on the PTR. If you strike a Dervish and Sand Dweller within the their spinning radius, you will instantly proc your cheat death passive. Both of these mob types, whether they are elite or white mobs are extremely dangerous, especially in HC. I really hope that Blizzard will dial down the reflected damage that these deal. In the mean time please be very careful and aware of their presence. Its unfortunate, but the best course of action is probably to make a hasty skip when encountering them if you play Shadow Impale next season.
it is not new. WD zuni with fetish army used to kill himself and party members when sand dwellers use their sand circles) But these mob are super rare in this patch, previosly there were dozens of them in set of red zombies+entombed hulks, but now 2-4 on the hole floor, easy to skip them - they don't chase you, just borrow under ground again)
as for dune dervish - their reflect animation is much more easier to notice and stop hitting, so just practice.
I just wanted to give everyone an update on Dervishes. They not only reflect missiles (Impale Daggers) back to the person attacking, but into the entire party. This is especially dangerous for a Shadow Impale DH and his/her party. A couple of times this season I have accidently procced the firebats WD in my party and nearly procced the support monk too, by firing impales near Dervishes. For a Shadow Impale DH its extremely important not to fire into spinning Dervishes when in a party. Take care around these very dangerous mob types.
