Well, my best friend just got a job at Game-stop recently, and he said that he new the releases of a lot of upcoming titles, and he said that they had Diablo 3 in stores December 31st. I don't know if this will be the real date, or not. I can only hope!

And no this is not a spam thread of falsified news. I want Diablo 3 to come out just as much as any hardcore diablo fan does. I don't know enough details and will try to find them out and post them here.

Eh, while I would love for this to be true, I highly doubt it is.
Blizz would not have scheduled their product to be shipped to stores this early, anyone who knows their dev cycle knows that they usually end up being postponed several months after the intended release date.
Though, they always end up as incredible games, so it's forgivable :D.

When game stores get new games, they have to fill in information for their systems such as game name, publisher and release date. If no release date is set, they make one up to "fill" in that section.
