Did anyone stop to notice how horrible the grammar is for the site? Not to mention the blatant disregard for actual factual labeling due to the stereotype of "Beta"?
Firstly, Diablo 3 isn't even finished. The fourth class is just a NPC right now with some basic abilities, according to JW, and the 5th class is just now finishing concepting. That means the game would be nowhere near a "beta" testing phase. Not even a "alpha" testing phase. People confuse the fact "Beta" testing is a phase of testing typically released before the final product is set to store shelves. Not during game programming and development. The game isn't even in a "friends and family" development stage yet. So stupid.
They also capitalize every word. "Positions Available." And "Please fill out the below agreement" makes no sense. The below agreement? Maybe they're thinking of some other wording, like "following agreement" or "please fill out the agreement below" but, otherwise, that makes no sense... "Below agreement"... Sheesh.
Then it goes on to have a comma, and says "and we will notify you within 24hrs"... Really? 24hrs? That's a joke. Blizzard would never put some time frame that particular, nor would they type "hrs". Also, the "and" there makes no sense, nor does that entire sentence. Then ANOTHER comma, going onto an entirely different topic says "If You Have Been Selected" ... Not even worth my time. That's so amateurish.
"Entity's Beta Stages" what the FUCK? Beta STAGES? Beta testing is ONE stage... Also... Entity? Oh... Okay..........
And the simply science shit on the thank you page is a JOKE. And everything on the thank you page is worded incorrectly. "Beta testing will begin at the start of february" That would be... "Beta testing will start at the beggining of february" or "In february"... Whatever. Then the best one of all...
"We will be notifying you within 24 hours if you have been selected as a tester" HA HA HA! We will be notifying... Oh my god. We will notify you, or you will be notified... Not WE WILL BE NOTIFYING. You can't say something future tense with a PRESENT verb. My god...
What has this internet spawned? Are people this naive? Did a 4th grader write this site? Not to mention a beta testing site would not be a .com domain like this. Typically for closed testing for games, they are intricate web URL's connected to the main site. Not "Diablo3beta" where anyone can find it.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"When men are most sure and arrogant, they are commonly the most mistaken, and have then given views to passion, without that proper deliberation and suspense which can alone secure them from the grossest absurdities"
And then they'll perma-ban those people for being morons.
