Made it unfair for ranged classes that couldn't stand toe to toe with the bosses, however.
Build stronger characters. If you can't handle the heat, you don't deserve the items.
The problem with the spam click fest is that it's very susceptible to botting/hacking.
So is aiming in counter-strike. There needs to be a dexterity element, which most of the time can be better performed by a program. Ban the hackers accounts and their IPs.
Ranged classes were pretty much left without items especially when sorc telekinesis wasn't able to pick up items anymore.
Pre-lod me and buddy were doing a CS run with 1 ama who was wearing a lot of MF and we picked up everything with our telekinesis', the ama kinda pissed after a few runs.
In diablo like game loot sharing doesn't really work.. its so fast paced. So I think the new system is pretty nice so you will get something no matter what type of class you were.
The Developer Panel stated that loot will be dropped individually for each player. Anything you see on the screen is yours.
They were talking about BOSS drops. It is possible that ONLY on bosses does everyone get their own loot drops. Which makes sense to me. If everyone gets drops for all WORLD LOOT there will be too many good items dropping everywhere. Ruining the economy.
If you kill the boss then its curtisy for the player to get their reward.

If its own loot the system should make sense, I'll hate getting melee weapons I can't use over and over again when the barb gets magic caster equipment for own loot.
FFA for minor things, for impreissive equipment it would be nice to have the WoW roll even though that can easily be abused.
For the record if I have one character and I'm rolling need and someone else is rolling need because they want it for their 3rd alternate... FFA just seems more fair. Like Capitalism fair, lol.

Individual world loot could be balanced by increasing monster strength with the number of players playing cooperatively.
8 player teams = harder monsters. Not 8x harder perhaps, but in this way we have balance.
I'll trust Blizzard to whatever they come up with.

its just automatic random loot for each person - if you see it, its yours, i love this - they have it in mythos and that was one of the best things they ever thought of

Instanced items = very fun, means more items and loot for everyone! What is wrong with that!
I don't want some noob coming up and stealing my drops that I worked for, example people that are getting rushes stealing them or something :mad:

I never got an adrenalin rush from killing bosses :confused:. I was always pissed when some podunk who had a bot got it anyways. That always pissed me off about D2.:mad:

each player should get his own or in a small party of let's say 4 each monster drops 4 items, one player in the party picks them all up and he only gets one, the rest is evenly distributed among the party... even though which item you get (armor,weapon,potion or etc) is completely random, just hope to god you get the best item when you take down a boss

I voted individual, but on the premise that boss drops are individual and everything else is FFA. Also, I would think that they make the boss drops individual, they won't drop as many items for each person. If the gameplay video is any indication, you would get a couple. This could be good and bad of course, but at the very least it should mean that item saturation won't be too bad (hopefully). Then again, I didn't mind the FFA system from Diablo II (usually), so I don't really care either way.
