bash: for single target dps/regen fury
WW:main nuke for AOE fights
earthquake: massive aoe dmg(use and forget skill) with zero cost and 75s cd
furious charge/revenge: healing skills
battle rage*: dmg buff
*not sure about this skill, probably would change it for something else, any ideas?
Yeah i had something similiar. Went for http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#bShViP!YgX!YccaaZ
Very similiar. From beta i remember revenger procced like crazy, and that was without whirlwinding around. You will easily get a proc once during a whirlwind without provocation so i went for vengence is mine, more fury and more healing. cleave with broad sweep imo is better than bash, tiny bit less damage but hits everyone in front rather than single target. Didnt see the point of getting earthquake as you already have 2 insane aoe damage abilities in WW/revenge i went with WoTB with insanity. I think once in Nightmare, WoTB will be used everytime i find a champion pack/rare pack /boss becuase of the absolute insane buff it gives.
Anyways yeah my $0.02

if you watch the interview with jay on inferno difficulty you might want to consider having a single target ability and a defensive ability for inferno. i think we'll probably be able to get away with alot of not quite optimal builds from normal to even hell but inferno is gonna be a different story. i'm still on the ropes about WotB. having that massive dps cd for the champ packs would be really nice, but the cd puts me off.
As far as cooldown on WoTB goes, 2 minutes is really not that long, especially when it will only be popped on rare/champs/elites. I would be very suprised if we bumped into those kinds of monsters within 2 minutes of one another. Yeah i was looking at single target dps and would probably choose Frenzy over cleave as revenge/ww is enough aoe. However i think that not getting furious charge/leap is really gimping your build. One of those 2 is a must as a gap closer/gap opener. If im low and charge through a group of 6-10 monsters i get anywhere between 48-80% of my total hp back. Can do the same if i'm getting low and need to get out.
my other build i not only get a good amount of hp regen/life leach but i'll get extra fury from crits through battle rage which will help with large packs. once battle rage is up if i'm critting as often as i'm hoping to i'll be able to WW > revenge > WW > revenge and then clean up with frenzy on any remainder mobs. and if my hp drops more then i'm comfortable i have ignore pain to save me.
i'm also thinking of using whatever level of amethyst i can afford in 2x1handers instead of using a 2hander. although who knows what it's gonna be like...it's all speculation till we get in there and die a few hundred times right?
Yeah, no idea what any of it is going to look like. Especially Inferno, trying to figure out what will be good and what wont is impossible. For all i know, we will have to have 1h/shield, all the defensive skills and all lifesteal runes just to stay alive... Might be that insane
....
strategy: charge to get some rage then alternate spamming WW and using Revenge procs. use ignore pain if i am taking too much dmg
not sure about the shout tho...i am thinking instead of Battle Rage, getting War Cry with Invigorate, i lose dmg but i gain more armor,10% more health and a HoT. thoughts?
well like jay wilson said...you need to find a balance between survivability and damage. too much survivability will mean your not killing fast enough and you'll get enrage timers. Not even survivability generally means your dead lol.
so i've made more modifications to the build, i've been thinking about balancing offensive/defensive and i think my build was too much tank oriented lol
the idea is to start the battle using both shouts, so i will have 40Fury right from the start, then Ground Stomp(and i am at 55fury now), bringing closer to me all monsters in 24yd(making use o Brawler here) and stunning them for 4s, allowing me to WW without taking any dmg for quite some time. ignore pain is the panic button here and i will have 2 passives healing all the time
imho this build has great synergy, what do you think?

Well I think the Warcry rune is waste.. Sure, for your "procedure" you'll need it, but I think vs Champs/Bosses this will just be a waste..
I'm pretty sure you can't plan to use always the same opener and procedure like a bot, I don't think d3 will be as predictable! Time will show.
do you think i should get rid of War Cry, maybe two shouts is not worth taking? and i'm really inclined to take revenge but don't know which skill to cut from the build, i'm worried that if i take out war cry for revenge my fury regen will be too slow?
do you think i should change Bash to Cleave or Frenzy? i see many builds with Frenzy but only a few with Bash... i get it that it does more damage, but isn't 3fury too low? i mean Bash can get up to 12fury and i think one would want to use WW more than Frenzy

i'm thinking of doing something like this
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WhRViP!ZXb!cbbZYZ
covers alittle of everything with some focus on survivability
