I have progressed through all of hell on my barb without much trouble. I had a bit of trouble once I got to Izual, but after a couple tries was able to defeat him. I am now however stuck on Diablo. I have tried multiple times and can not get passed the shadow phase.
My current build is:
Frenzy - Side Arm
Leap - Iron Impact
Earthquake - Aftershock
Revenge - Provacation
Berserker - Slaughter
War Cry - Hardened Wrath
My passives are : Nerves of Steel, Tough as Nails, and Superstition
DPS- 5.1k
Armor- 5k
Strength- 950
Life - 45k
I am level 58, and I have money to upgrade, however I do not want to upgrade until I am level 60 because I don't want to buy gear that will be obsolete in two levels.
Are there any tips that anyone has for me to help my pass Diablo? Is my build okay for him, or should I change anything up about it? Should I just powerlevel until I am 60 and buy better gear to get past him?
Well I'm not really giving advice but I'm just gonna share my experience. I've soloed most of hell and I have soloed diablo as well, however I was lvl 60 before even getting into A4...I was about halfway through A3 when I hit lvl 60, and diablo was not a problem on the first try. I suggest you train more and when hit lvl 60 and maybe that'll help your skills/build/etc and can solo diablo with ease. BTW, I am now in inferno mode farming butcher with no problems at all and not all my stuff are lvl 60 gear. I have mostly 57-59 gear with a few lvl 60 pieces. So don't think that once you hit inferno mode, you'll need 100% lvl 60 gear to survive the littlest of things. It's not all about the lvl of gear, it's about the stats.

I'll echo this. Although I was a monk, I hit level 60 just before getting to Diablo and found him to be significantly easier the Izual. (The fight is longer, but Izual was one shotting me where Diablo never did.) I'm pretty sure Diablo is level 60 in Hell, as are the clones, so that level difference is making things that much harder for you. Your stats look good!
You say you don't want to upgrade...but why not just buy a new weapon? You can find some extremely cheap if you look hard enough.
5k dps is abysmally low.
My brother was able to defeat Hell Diablo with 15k DPS and only 25k HP.
Drop one of your skills for Ignore Pain...this helped him a ton for the shadows.
EDIT: He had no movement-type skills like leap/charge either. So perhaps that one isn't needed? I don't know for certain (I play OP Hunter myself), I'm just going by what I've watched him play.

5Kdps is not low for a Barb or Monk at level 58. And buying a new weapon at level 58 is going to net you about... 5Kdps. That's all I had for DPS when killing Diablo at 60, and now in Inferno Act 2 I only have 9K dps (which is low... but still working!). You cannot compare your Demon Hunter/Wizard/WD DPS numbers with Monk/Barb, its a different style of fighting =)
Alright, I will level up until 60 and hopefully it will be a lot easier for me, thanks all for the advice!
Just restart A4 - you'll get to 60 in no time with the xp from completing quests.
As for your stats in general, get some All Resistance and more DPS, and sprinkle in a 3%+ melee reduction if you can. When I beat Diablo in Hell, my stats were pretty comparable to yours except:
Level 60
DPS was around 13k
Lowest Resist was 200 (unbuffed)
4% Melee and Ranged Damage Resistance
<30k HP
As far as your build itself goes:
I'd swap out one of your defensive passives for an offensive one - probably Superstition, but that might be dangerous until you get some All Resist gear
Consider the +HP or +Resist runes for Warcry, much more popular than +Armor
Berserker AND Earthquake might be redundant. Replacing one with Ignore Pain with the Lifesteal rune will greatly improve survivability and give you a near-full heal.
Make sure you're using Leap on cooldown - it quadruples your armor for 4 seconds, but can be used every 10. That means you can make sure you've got max armor for almost half of any long fight.
A bit of Life on Hit (or even Lifesteal) could help. Or a better weapon - search for a cheap level 60 weapon with Reduced Level Requirement.

Except my brother plays a Barb as well so I'm NOT comparing DH/Wiz/WD dps to Monk/Barb dps. I'm comparing his own Barb's DPS.
I was saying that I play a DH so my advice only stems from watching my brother play his character, I have no hands on experience myself.
