Last Friday I came third out of thirty-eight people at the Magic: The Gathering tournament I attend every week. I was pretty happy about how well I did, especially considering I've only been playing for five weeks or so. I won six booster packs, which is like $24 Canadian. The entry fee for the night is only $5.
Also, it's been a week and three days since my last cigarette.
Should I play this PTR thingy? what you guys think?
I dont know, it doesnt even work for me. I log in, then it kicks me out <_<
But yeah, i'd like to log in and see how i would manage with monster level 5+ and try a new build without warcry or possibly a different rune.

I'll start posting here again, now that I'm actually playing D3.
I don't know how anyone could use the RMAH to purchase anything significant... I tried, and had to throw away the stuff I bought. I felt like I was cheating. I'd rather have shitty gear that I worked my ass off for, than a perfectly rolled item I bought with a credit card.
Meh, nothing against it, but it's just not for me.
I would never use the RMAH simply because I have better things to spend my money on. I don't really care about it enough to complain about it, but it's something that I'm going out of my way to avoid. I feel bad for the gullible fuckers who actually want to spend actual money on pixels and stats.
Things I would rather use my money for:
- Things for my guitar
- Dates
- Movies
- Materials that I can actually touch (that's the kicker here)
- Music
The RMAH is one of the stupidest concepts out there and I really don't like it for one glaring reason; we're using real money to pay for shit that doesn't matter in the least. What does that say about us as a society? How low are we willing to go? I couldn't give a shit about how it impacts the game. I just got back into D3 after about two months of not playing it and I'm having a blast. The new patches have really given me more incentive to play and see how far I can develop my character. That's what the game is about (and the gear grind which, frankly, I am now getting more interested in).
Only problem I have with D3 right now is all the friend requests I get from spam bots. It's annoying, yeah, but it's not affecting my enjoyment in the least.

My partner and I came in first place at a Two-Headed Giant tournament for the Return to Ravnica pre-release. Two-Headed Giant is basically two versus two, and I'm talking about Magic: The Gathering by the way.
Unrelated as fuck, but yeah, this is the off-topic thread.
It lives!!!
I need my yearly dose of the most important thread of the forums.
(I believe I should add an "I'm sorry" as well, for those who know who they are and might be reading this.)
EDIT: What the flying fuck? I'm still set as a news reporter, after being absent for almost a year o.O I'd better change my signature, at the very least.
Whats up?! So little activity going on in this thread...have to say I haven't contributed myself. Still enjoying D3 after almost 5 months? Do have a level 60 Monk (10) or something. Haven't played with him in a while...still trying to get each class character to level 60. My Barbarian, Wizard and Witch Doc are level 51 starting in Hell and my Demon Hunter are 35. I'm progressing each character through each difficulty, so I'm playing the DH atm. Don't have much time to play though, but I'll get there.
Love the Monk and Witch Doc the most. The Barbarian is meh (mine doesn't feel powerful enough) and the DH is my least favourite. I just don't enjoy playing her as much as the others.
Don't judge. Only have 124 hours on my Monk and haven't bought anything over 200k on the AH (since I've never had a decent drop of anything; biggest sellout was less than 500k I think. Have 5mil gold atm, but trying upgrade my gear in game). Also my skill selection might not sit well with some, but I like how they each skillset play. BUT if you do have advice (part from my monk needing crit dmg & %), please do share.
Getting my ass handed to me in University atm. Slacked off WAY to much last quarter and have to get up to date, but it's proving difficult. Not because the work is hard (it also is), but I'm so lazy right now and my sleep schedule is fucked (3am here lol).
But yeah this is my first post in a while and maybe my last in a while (unless some of you reply). Probably not, I'll be here tomorrow! huehue (<--- not in an offensive way).

I'm surprise you still remember your dfans password after a year! Unless you use the same password for most of your stuff. Welcome back!
