Hah, 2 easy, il gladly help on this one.
Examine the golden claw itself, the combination of the 3 animals is on the claw itself, so thats your answere, just spin them on the door the same way they are shown on the claw
Your welcome.
I looked at it closely (each time I put it in the lock and it didn't work) and didn't notice it still. Meh oh well, thanks though! Glad to be past it. Hope I can pass-forward the help.
Does anyone know how to screencap while in game? My print screen button seems to do nothing when I hit it, and my friend wanted to see how my character looks.
Heavier armor makes more noise while sneaking. Then the perks also set them apart a little bit.
And yes you can mine ore, get a pick and go to a cave/mine and look very closely at the walls sometimes you'll find an ore vein though so far it's been sort of rare, I haven't searched for them a whole lot yet though.
What's the difference between the armors? Like, plate/steel and hide/leather, what advantages does each have?
Also, is there a way to mine for ore?
It was overlooked when you originally asked but YES you can indeed mine for ore. First you need a mining pick (it'll go into your weapon tab once you pick it up, just like wood axes for chopping wood to sell for gold). Then you must find a mine (I've only come across one, on accident). Inside said mine there will be shiny patches along the rocks. Said shiny patches are in fact mineral veins and you use the mining pick to mine ore from the veins. Then take it back to your forge & smelt the ore. TA-DA free ingots.
Edit: Oops, Daemaro did indeed mention the ability to mine!
Ahh thx. I didn't even know you could harvest wood. So i just equip the axe or pick like a weapon then target the tree/ore vein?
I don't think you have to actually equip the item. For ore, you just hit E at the vein (something will pop up telling you to do this). For harvesting wood however, you have to find a chopping block (looks like a flat-topped tree log) where you chop wood into planks. The wood isn't used for crafting though, you take it to someone in town who runs the lumber mill and they pay you for it. The same goes for some vegetables (leeks, squash, and some others). Take these veggies to someone in town and they pay you for harvesting them.
Has anyone else found "Treasure Map VII (7)"? The drawing on it is super vague and I can't tell where the hell it's trying to point out.
Edit: Found "Treasure Map VIII (8)" also, still more random vague drawings. Anyone have any luck?
I have the game guide so have looked for you -
Map 7 - Gallows Rock - Treasure is under the rock with the noose.
Map 8 - Dragon Bridge Town - In a satchel next to the tree across from the bridge is a key to unlock the chest in the river north east of the bridge underwater.
Can you tell me where to get information about Daedric shrines, like what to offer? I found the shrine of Meridia, and it has some kind of a gem pedestal or something like that, but I don't know what to put on it. I have soul gems, but it does nothing when I click on the pedestal.
You need to get 'Meridias Beacon' which can be found randomly in large or ornate treasure chests.

The biggest problem is that you have to look reeeeealy close to discern them from the normal ground/rocks <_< and yeah they are rather rare... you HAVE to buy metal if you want to lvl up smithing. Well I'm lvl21 and have 80+ in Smithing... so I guess its not too bad?^^
Two pieces of advice, that you may or may not know. 1) The mines populated by towns/villages tend to have more veins, and 2) equip a torch, and it makes it a LOT more obvious what are veins and what aren't.

What's in the treasure chest? Is it good enough to actually bother going after treasures?
Edit: What is the point of the perk "quick reflexes" in the block tree? From what I can tell, it lets you dodge and attack while the opponent is attacking. Is the real point to let you time the block better, or something? I thought I heard something about block being a timing based thing this time around.
Don't have the game yet, but I wanted to know if there are Deadric items/weapons or any legendary caliber such as in Oblivion like the skeleton key or that unlimited soul gem (azure's tear I think), things that aren't really cheats or game breakers but makes things easier to deal with..

I agree with feminism. I don't think that it's right that for every dollar a man makes, a women gets 70 cents. Why do I only get 30 cents and some chick gets the rest?
Also what happens to a khajit with lycanthropy? Especially appearance-wise...

The 4th Deadric Artifact I got was really cool. Its a Book that gives you Skillpoints in one of the 3 major trees... was enough for 2 lvlups^^ (I was maybe half done with the lvl befor I read the book...)
Edit: It gives you 5 Points per Skill under Warrior/Thief/Mage Oo thats 6*5 = 30 Skillpoints in one go^^ (if I hadnt Smithing already at 100... so only 25 Points for me :()
Are you talking about Daedra artifacts like in Oblivion and Morrowind, where you get them by doing something at each of their shrines?
If so, which shrine should I look for to get that artifact?

Sorry I took a while to respond to this, but where's Gallows Rock & Dragon Bridge Town? As far as, in relation to major cities I might already have on my map.
If someone finds a ''item'' wich is required to make the ''dwarven mechanisms'' work in random dwarfven dungeons, please let e know where you found it.
If your looking for the focus lense then i suggest going to youtube and typing in quest name. My game bugged here and it explains the whole quest and what to do if it bugs out for you. Btw im on phone at work or i would link it for you

Heavy Armour - Warrior
Light Armour - Thief
Cloth - Mage
But you could say screw it and go Heavy armour Mage
