So we are fairly confident that Azmodan, Belial and Diablo are going to be 3 of the 4 big bosses. With everything we've seen so far, we actually have no idea how these bosses are going to play like and just thinking about it really excites me. So basically I just want some ideas or theories with how you think they will play. Speculate below.
Personally I want to believe (for diablo anyway) there is going to be an epic cut scene followed by a fight that isn't in one area. Like you take 1/3 of his health off and he gets stronger but the terrain changes like he knocks you through a wall or you fall down a level from the damaged ground.

I don't think there has been any information regarding like any cut-scenes or anything. The thing is, what if you are playing a multi-player game? How does Diablo manage to knock all the players through a wall? Although it would seem kinda fun, I'm not sure if they would add something like that. I'm all for awesome cut-scenes though!
Actually, they did something like that in Ratchet And Clank: Going Commando.
It wasn't that cool. But it was pretty adorable.
I don't see them doing anything like that, honestly. They said they don't want to interrupt the flow of action and what better way to interrupt the flow of action than to throw in a cutscene in the middle of a badass boss fight?
I mean, that'd be a huge boner kill, no matter how cool the cutscene was.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence
Thats why I want to believe it, probably will never happen but it would be sickkkk
I guess it would be pretty could, but you also have to consider the fact that having something where the boss just hurls you through a wall along with the rest of the players could kinda break the mood of playing, like it stops the action a little. It would also suck if you were low on health and being smashed through a wall causes you to die lol. I think we should just stick to a cut-scene or something before or after killing the boss. I guess I'm just indifferent to these kinds of things =/
Didn't blizz state bosses would be more involved, and that the game would have a stronger storyline?
Methinks that the end-end bosses will be somewhat similar to a wow raid boss, in that we'll need to do positioning, movement, avoid fire, use many skills (albeit as a gimmick no doubt), etc etc
Perhaps something similar to that would be if during the fight once he got to a certain HP he scorched the whole area to the point of being a much diff atmosphere. Perhaps youd have to dodge falling burned statues or something.
Well how about with the siege assault demon thing in the 08 gameplay how it rips off the barbs head......I reckon that at least when you fight Diablo, he will impale you or something. That would be cool id die on purpose the first time hahah
I'm rooting for anything to make the boss fights more exciting, Diablo 2 was kinda easy when it came to bosses, especially if your character had the best gear, and even if not (moat trick at mephisto) it didn't make the boss fights exciting, either they were way too strong to kill (duriel) or you already had the best gear and you ended up mopping the floor with the bosses. I'd want them to be longer, that way it makes things more intense than a 5 second boss battle because your character has an attack called rape and you just spam that and it just rapes the boss so quickly its not even fun anymore.

"Rape" sounds like a great skill, i'll definitely be using that at the end game.
