Stat priorities: Cooldown Reduction, Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Attack Speed, Maximum Essence, Skeletal Mage Damage, Physical Skills Damage, Flat Damage, Armor, Intelligence, All Resists, Vitality, %Life, Life Regeneration, Cost Reduction.


Jesseth Skullshield is adequate if you get +Maximum Essence secondary.


Solo pushing: the base build above.

Solo speed: swap Kanai's Cube Tasker and Theo to Steuart's Greaves.

Group pushing: swap Unity out for Krysbin's Sentence.

Group speed: swap Unity out for Krysbin's Sentence, and swap Kanai's Cube Tasker and Theo to Steuart's Greaves.

Group alternate jewelry setup: wear a Hellfire Amulet for a 5th passive (add Extended Servitude), swap Unity out for Circle of Nailuj's Evol, and swap Kanai's Cube jewelry to Haunted Visions.


Follower: Enchantress.

Build: Forceful Push + Powered Armor + Erosion + Mass Control.

Gems (not important): Ruby in weapon, Topazes in jewelry.

Focus: Smoking Thurible (cannot die).

Weapon: Maloth's Focus (Enchant a movement impairment secondary). Alternatives: Thunderfury, The Sultan of Blinding Sand, Azurewrath.

Amulet: Overwhelming Desire (Enchant a movement impairment secondary). Alternative: The Ess of Johan.

Rings: Unity and Oculus Ring. Alternatives: Pandemonium Loop (with Maloth's Focus), Wyrdward (only with Thunderfury), Rechel's Ring of Larceny, Band of Hollow Whispers.

If your life pool isn't large enough, put points into Life and/or Vitality, but ensure your in-town life regeneration is higher than your Simulacrum degeneration (5% of a too-large life pool is difficult to out-regen).

Build Guide

My version of Singularity Mages, with a strong focus on minimizing clunkiness.


Playstyle:

1) Always keep something cursed;

2) Re-cast Simulacrum when it comes up;

3) Cast mages when your Essence is full, and when you have <10 mages, or when you have no mages (any amount of Essence);

4) Fill your Essence by tapping Siphon Blood, to suck up nearby health globes.
