This is a LoN build, as such all items should be Ancient. Endgame they should also have Caldesaan. Items are pretty much set in stone, this build is based on Corpse Explosion + Grasps of Essence + Trags + Rimeheart + Krysbin, along with having Huge Toughness

Build Guide

This build is my take on a LoN necro build using Corpse Explosion. Tired of your necro dying all the time? This build is your answer! Sporting LoN defensive bonus +52%, Aquila +50%, Golemskin legs +30%, Thy Flesh Sustained +100% life regen, Dayntee's +50%, Esoteric and Gizzard, as well as Final Service, you won't be dying anytime soon. But what about damage, you ask? Try +1300% LoN bonus, +600% Grasp of Essence, +300% Krysbin, +200% Trag, +200% Johnstone, and +10,000% Rimeheart bonus (unaffected by Grasps + Johnstone, so still +1300%, 300%, 200%, and 10,000%). Needless to say, this build at Higher Greater Rifts must SKIP JUGGERNAUTS. Aim for 50%+ Cooldown. Gameplay is simple, find a group of monsters, Blood Rush Molting where you want, explode the corpse, which will set off a chain of more corpses for you to explode. You also have the Flesh Golem active ability which will generate a group of corpses for you, along with 1 corpse every second due to Moribund gloves. Use Land of Dead on cooldown, we use the +2 seconds rune because everything gets frozen anyways. Aim for +8-10 pickup radius, or more if you have god gear.


Feel free to change Eternal Torment if you want, I use it to keep Dayntee's up basically at all times even if out of range

Feel free to change Esoteric and Gizzard to offensive gems such as Powerful and Stricken if you prefer, the build has more than enough toughness

Feel free to use Harvest of Anguish rune on Bone Armor if you are using an item like Lost Time

Feel free to use Army of Dead in place of Bone Armor if you wish to use a Fate's Vow variant

Trag's and Gloves of Essence better in cube than the Rimeheart and Moribund, because they have a range of damage. But use what you have


Only downside is that this build requires all ancient items to be at full effect. However, you can start putting this build together at 8/13 ancients and still be very effective. Once at 13/13 ancient + 70+ caldesaan, you'll surely see how much of a juggernaut the build is!
