More Details
  • Legendary Gems

    • Boyarsky's Chip
    • Bane of the Trapped
    • Bane of the Stricken

Kanai's Cube

  • Blood Brother
  • Sanguinary Vambraces
  • Convention of Elements
  • Higher GRs (75+): elite hunting only. Most damage done is to the first enemy hit. That should be an elite. This can be difficult when there are dense mobs around the elite.
  • Hit Prophet, Iron Skin, Provoke and Laws and spam Punish until the elite pack is dead and Steed Charge to the next Elite pack. You may need to be selective about using Prophet as you only have about 61% uptime on it.
  • Topaz in the weapon.
  • Diamond in the helm and diamonds (mitigation) or rubies (damage and armor) in the rest of the armor slots.

Skill alternatives:

  1. Laws of Justice: Decaying Strength, for Laws of Valor, can assist with all resistance and straight damage reduction. You may need this skill until you have enough strength (paragon and/or augments) in the mid and late game before switching to Laws of Valor.
  2. Consecration: Bed of Nails can increase Thorns damage while getting some sustain.
  3. Adding the passive Hold Your Ground can assist with reaching max. block chance.

Gearing alternatives:

  1. Heart of Iron for Vambraces in the cube.
  2. Hack for Pig Sticker. However, Pig Sticker appears to be the better option for solo play (great for single target).
  3. Vo'Toyias Spiker can be used if you don't have Akarat's Awakening. However, if combined with Hack (and you have Akarat's Awakening in the cube), you could kill more trash versus hunt just elites. Just to be clear, Hack setup is better for clearing trash, but poor at killing elites in higher GRs.
  4. In the cube, could use Furnace and Nemesis Bracers to support the elite hunting further.

Gear Stats:

  1. Thorns as secondary everywhere.
  2. You DO NOT need Critical Hit Chance or Damage.
  3. Pig Sticker can have 5 stats total. The 5th stat is Strength. You don't need damage range on this weapon.
  4. A lot of Cooldown Reduction. I have 63.47%. I like having Steed Charge and Prophet up as much as possible.
  5. Life on Hit (LOH) and Attack Speed (AS) are very important for sustain and damage.
  6. Justice Lantern rolls: Block chance, attack speed, Life on hit and CDR/area damage.
  7. AS breakpoints: You can pull up an Invoker Build at https://www.d3planner.com/837625866. The breakpoint is under the punish skill. Focus on CDR first. Having a lot of strength (via paragon or augments) usually assists with rolling strength off for an AS stat (if required). With the AS from Pig Sticker (with a 7% IAS roll), paragon, Fanaticism, Celerity, hand and rings with 7% ASI rolls, Fervor, Laws of Valor, & Focused Mind you will have 3.04 APS (or 11 FPA).
  8. As this is an elite hunting build and you have Laws of Valor, you could switch LOH for 8% Elite Damage on your weapon.
  9. If you need more toughness, you can roll vitality (up to 1000) on the Amulet or shield or add more All Resistance (AR) rolls.
  10. Area Damage should be the last offensive stat to get. Only 2-piece ability of Invoker's set proc's it.

Legendary gem alternatives:

  • Gogok of Swiftness can assist with AS and CDR in the early and mid game.
  • Bane of the Powerful can assist with elites and damage output overall.

Follower: Templar. There is an argument for no follower as you want as many enemies focused on hitting you as possible. Your choice of course.
