Build Guide

Lets ride a wave of destruction.

This is an attempt at an LOH(Legacy of Nightmares set) buildfor necromancers. ::Disclaimer:: I am by no means a top tier player so please leave constructive feedback if you notice something that could be better. Link to the build = https://www.d3planner.com/419518545 the stats should be at 50% ratio there.

Premise behind the build is Funerary Pick + Iron Rose to hit 3 monsters at a time, trigger Ess of Johan to pull them together and feed Bloodtide Blades passive for massive aoe damage.

Supplemented with many many passive survival mechanics, tested the survivability without the LoH buff and at T8 I could stand toe to toe with Belial eating all his abilities without going under half health.

Gear Choices:

(primary)

Litany of the Undaunted + Wailing Host: the core of the build kinda straight forward

Funerary Pick: The source of our damage, hits 3 enemies healing yourself and restores essence, also triggers Iron rose

Iron Rose: Everyone loves free, this gives a high chance to cast a powerful aoe and with Funerary Pick there is 3 chances to do so

(secondary)

Leorics Crown: Amethyst in socket, CDR or Extra life both are quite beneficial in this helm

Corruption: The pickup radius enchances Aura of Frailty, and works with Life From Death (alternately Pauldrons of the Skeleton King: An extra life in any video game is totally worth getting, also the fear is nice to help re-establish area control)

Wisdom of Kalan: More bone armor = more survivability simple enough

Requiem Cereplate: Using this in conjunction with Moratorium can counter the staggered damage till you can clear it with a kill.

Moribund Gauntlets: Golem gives a corpse, combos with Devour and Requiem Cereplate

Dayntee's Binding: Survivability combos with Aura of frailty

Nemesis Bracers: Faster clear time in the rifts

Golemskin Breeches: Survivability combos with Bone Golem active, Bone armor and passively with Bone Golem.

Steuart's Greaves: Speed boosts are always nice, faster clears in those rifts

(Cube and Gems)

Aquila Curiass: Easily a staple in many LOH builds this one is no different, and with Requiem Cereplate, Funerary Pick, and the fact most of the abilities in this build have no cost its simple to keep the Damage reduction active

Bloodtide Blade: Triggering from Blood nova from Iron rose will benefit from this passive and it combos with Ess of Johan to take full advantage of the huge damage bursts possible.

The Ess of Johan: Siphon, Bone golem, free Blood novas, and Bone Armor all can trigger this passive. The more enemies drawn in the better to feed the passive from Bloodtide Blade.

Bane of the Striken: staple gem for rift clears

Moratorium: Survivability, and with Requiem Cereplate you can offset the staggered damage while you rampage on

Mirinae, Teardrop of the Starweaver: More healing, more damage. Though honestly right now this slot is open for debate another good choice is Esoteric Alteration.

Skills:

Siphon Blood(Power Shift): Bread and butter spell of the build heals and restores essence. Triggers Weapon, Off-hand, Cube, Chest, and many passives

Bone Armor(Dislocation): Survivability, buffed by neck, and triggers wrist and cube.

Command Golem(Bone Golem): CC, a decent amont of damage and triggeres legs, cube, wrist, and hands.

Frailty(Aura of Frailty): Faster monster deaths means faster clears, triggers belt.

Blood Rush(Potency): Escape mechanic, helps clear speed. Triggers boots.

Devour(Satiated): More essence restoring, but also increases health pool on use. Triggers chest and cube.

(passives)

Stand Alone: Only Command Golem is active giving 90% armor buff for survival

Swift Harvesting: Siphon Blood is cast more often thus triggering all of its effects more often.

Life From Death: Party and solo survivability

Final Service: Another extra life

Once I have everything ancient for this build I will post some screenshots and a video(hopefully) to show how it works. If anyone feels like trying this and posting their results I would be interested in the feedback.
