After experimenting with this WD classic for a while, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at just how well it was performing. I dont expect it to break any leaderboard records, but it is definitelly capable of breaking 105+ with the right gear and a skilled pair of hands. Anyway, if you feel like trying something new, or in this case revisiting an old classic, I highly recommend you give it a shot (no pun intended).


The build is as straightforwards as it seems. Activate your Fetish Army and get your Soul Harvest stacks to 10, so you dont insta-rip. Group up enemies with Piranhado, and shoot darts at it. Use Grasp of the Dead when Nado is on cooldown, so you can keep the Zuni 6pc bonus active on enemies at all times. Spirit Walk out of trouble when needed, or use it offensively to help sustain your dps.

Possible alternatives.

-Swap Confidence Ritual for Spirit Vesel, if you prefer a safer ranged playstyle. Zei's can also be used in place of Trapped in this case, providing a larger damage multiplier and a high chance to stun to boot, granted you can keep enemies at range.

-Cube Furnace instead of Sacred Harvester for a sizable Elite DPS increase, but at a huge loss of toughness. I feel like the trade-off is not really worth it, but if you feel brave (read: suicidal), by all means try it out.

-Swap Grasp of the Dead for a spender of your choice. Acid Cloud works well for a ranged setup with Zei's since it instantly covers a large area from any range. Spirit Barrage Phantasm works really well too, as it persistantly slows enemies in its area of effect.

-Swap Piranhado for Frozen Piranhas. Provides slow for Trapped, but at the cost of grouping utility from Nado. I do not recommend it, since it's important to have enemies grouped up to get those juicy Area Damage procs.



A quick note on Spined Dart. This particular Poison Dart rune is used for the sole reason of getting the massive damage bonus from Depth Diggers, which also applies to Fetish Darts. In other words, both are pretty much mandatory, in my humble opinion.
