Playstyle:

  • Get Sweeping Wind stacks up to 10;
  • Keep Dashing Strike (Crystal Fist and Blinding Speed), and Spirit Guard buffs up;
  • Group up enemies with Cyclone Strike (don't spam it, you need the spirit);
  • Alternate generator and Lashing Tail Kick for damage and keeping spirit up. Takes some getting use to;
  • You are using 58.92% Resource Cost Reduction (RCR; including Cindercoat).

Gearing Alternatives

  • Could use String of Ears (toughness) instead of Witching Hour;
  • Amethyst (sustain) or topaz (RCR) in the helm. Topaz ideally;
  • Cube options: Strongarm Bracers (damage), Nemesis Bracers, Reaper's Wraps (spirit), Gloves of Worship, Lefebvre's Soliloquy (damage mitigation), Furnace (elite damage), or Flying Dragon (AS for sustain and spirit regen.). If you use Flying Dragon, you will need a total attacks per second (APS) of 2.43 to have 50% up time on its ability;
  • Another variant uses Rabid Strike. You will need a lot of CDR and add Epiphany.
  • Season 16 only: Don't need Ring of Royal Grandeur. Can use Unity, Convention of Elements or Band of Rue Chambers in the cube.

Skill alternatives:

  • Generator: Fists of Fury: Quickening for more spirit regeneration or Crippling Wave: Rising Tide, Tsunami or Concussion for enemy debuff;
  • Could use the Eye of the Storm rune to reduce spirit cost of Cyclone Strike;
  • Could switch Mantra for Epiphany. However, having a no CDR build makes gearing easier. Could use Mantra of healing: Time of Need or Mantra of Salvation: Divine Protection to help avoid dying;
  • Passive alternatives: Exalted Soul (spirit), Seize the Initiative (Attack Speed for damage and spirit from generator), or Determination (damage) for Transcendence.

Stat alternatives/options:

  • Weapons: %Damage, Vitality or Life on Hit for Resource Cost Reduction or Area Damage;
  • +Max. Spirit where possible (helm and weapons);
  • Secondary resistance everywhere for Harmony defensive buff and Health Globe Bonus where possible to increase healing from Transcendence;
  • More Vitality rolls in general for greater sustain.

  • Follower: Enchantress with Focused Mind for additional AS and crowd control (CC) or Templar for healing, resource Regen. and some CC.
