Hello,
I really don't understand the changes, that you've made 10 hours ago.
It's not the build in the video anymore. Why have you changed the off hand to Bone Ringer now? Its passive ability has no influence on the build, or?
Regarding passives. So I usually only play diablo 3 with the wife, never solo. Any reason I should keep stand alone passive? If not, what is a good alternative for that passive?
By far the mostly useless build in the game without stacking CDR on literally everything, most builds that use the free set aren't supposed to be so garbage and reliant on one stat being stacked on everything just to be useful. Literally running around with your thumb up your ass while waiting for Land of the Dead to come off of CD to actually not be completely worthless. GG
If you think this build is useless, I feel a little sorry for you. Definitely check out my Blight Spear Q&A video on my channel, this build is THE fastest solo speedfarm in the game. Feel free to stop by the stream anytime to watch it in action as well.
It's a great build for sure, but what is with Bone Ringer as the offhand? You made changes a couple days ago and I don't quite understand the use of it. Was anything else changed that shouldn't have been changed too?
Why not ? I play it with numlock Devour. What am i missing out on ?
Ok thanks for the reply
After testing this for a while, I’d say the build is pretty great. However, it is nowhere as consistent as you make it out to be in the beginning of your video.
I’ve managed to get a couple 2-3 minute runs, but for you to say it’s consistent is just incorrect. You need the right mob density to really keep up with the Gogok’s and In-geom procs. However, you could realistically say this about A LOT of builds (I personally played Raekor Barb a lot so I’m familiar with this).
All in all I like it a lot, and despite not getting consistent 2-3 minute runs I can easily finish GRs in less than 4-5. Despite the handful of commenters claiming this build sucks, it is by far one of the strongest builds I’ve seen in this game to date. Nice work dude!
nice strong build,I have good fun with it, good job man
I promise you it is the most consistant GR farming build in the game. We literally run it all day on stream and barely ever run over 3.5 minute GRs. Please do stop by and figure out what you're doing wrong.
This build is insanely easy to get off the ground, once you satisfy it's key requirements. I got it up to solo 70+ in 2 days of farming (500 ish para). I'm, by no means considered a skilled player.. I'm a habitual button smasher. I find it pretty forgiving, it melts everything until it hits it's content ceiling. I'm currently optimizing my gear, and replacing the 5 or 6 non-ancients and shiet rolled parts of the puzzle. I look forward to seeing how hard I can push it, once I get it dialed in and get some Caldesann's added to the gear.
I don't understand Final Services if we don't use minions.
For some reason, I just can't seem to do GR70 on this build (Paragon 377). I'm at a threshold around GR 65 and have the full set and all BiS gear, Cube items, etc. But my CDR is only 44.80% because I haven't rolled it on my Amulet or Compass Rose (I went for sockets to put my gems in there); but it seems very difficult to get higher than 45% CDR while using gems, and with only 45% CDR I'm still having a good 10-20 second downtime on Land of the Dead (with using Bone Spear); that and the mobs in a L70 GR generally 1-2 shot me. I do have the highest level diamond gem in my helm as well. Is this the normal process for this build? I see in the video and hear in the posts how this build can do GR70 no problem "from the start" but I certainly can't do it with BiS gear and only 45% CDR (and nearly 700k damage).
Have you checked out my Blight Spear Q&A video on youtube? You can easily hit 50% just rolling CDR on every piece and ignoring all other stat requirements.
The best part about this setup is that you can re use most of the gear for your GR Push build if you go with the Poison variant. I think I may just do Blight Spear variants for T13 and GR farming and then the standard Poison build for pushing GRs this season. Being on console, I'm still debating whether to stick with Blood Rush or try the Revive Oblation setup, but I think it'll work better overall with Ricochet over Brittle Touch anyway because of the way targeting works (or doesn't work real well).
This build is so squishy, and any greater rift at 80+ you will die if anything touches you. It's a lot of fun when you're on a roll with elite packs and just zipping around. But if you get a bad rift, you will die, and you will die a lot. I'm running this build with just under 60% CDR and its still not enough, you need to be spamming bone spear when land of the dead is popped, but at higher grifts you will not be able to kill yellow elite packs sometimes, and without spamming bone spear, the LOD cooldown is still too long. This build can be fun at times, but frustrating most of the time. I have been unsuccessful clearing an 85+ without dying 5+ times.
.
Yet another awesome Fluffy build! To those who say, “Ugh! Another build relying on big CDs!? No thanks! Boring!” I say, you really need to learn this. Played right, this destroys everything and is soooo much fun!
I’ll be totally honest that I hated this build and got pretty pissed playing it, but then I really forced myself to learn and damn if it isn’t powerful and fun!
One thing I did learn is you must, must, must use the numlock trick, you are shooting yourself in both feet if you don’t.
If you are having trouble, keep at it, so worth it in the long run! If I can play it with two seasons ish under my belt, anyone can.
@LordFluffy
I love this build, having a ton of fun with it while still grinding to max out my gear.
I'm looking into tweeking the gear slightly and would like your opinion.
I plan on using both Steuart's Greaves and Corpsewhisper Pauldrons, I have already found and cubed the greaves. To keep my 6 peice set bonus Im gonna cube Ring of Royal Grandeur so I can use the pauldrons. This will allow me to use a single piece of the endless walk set (though I am considering droping that in favor of obsidian Ring of the Zodiac , Krysbin's Sentence, and The Johnstone.) Instead of the Vigilante Belt wouldn't Captain Crimson's Silk Girdle be better in this instance? It would give a set bonus of 10% CDR plus 6 other magic properties vs the 4 properties of Vigilante Belt.
great build, lot of fun
