The build relies on the Inarius set due to its general nature and only requirement being to have Bone Armor in your build to get your damage bonuses up and running. My favorite Necromancer skills are Blood Rush and Death Nova, so I wanted to find a speed build for Torment farming that combined those two things. This build seems to do the trick nicely, with a high priority on movement speed that you'll utilize between Blood Rushes, getting from Elite pack to Elite pack, as well as cool synergies between curses, creating density, and making melee fun.
The biggest things to note are that you really want Maximum Essence as a secondary on your Scythe and Phylactery to assist with the damage gained by Reilena's Shadowhook in the Cube and you should be looking to mainly focus on killing elites, although you'll also be killing plenty of trash as it keeps funneling in due to the huge radius you'll have on Aura of Frailty.
Please check out the video below for a full rundown and a visual of how the build play. Necromancer is still very fresh and I'm sure changes will come, so I'll update this guide as I think of new ways to improve the build and as the developers tweak the Necromancer. Thanks for checking it out!

Due to Reilena's Shadowhook, Maximum Essence is very important for buffing your damage, so pay special attention to that. Otherwise, you should be focusing on getting your cooldown reduction up so that you can Blood Rush as much as possible and also get your damage statistics up so that you're killing as quickly as possible. The defense will take care of itself due to the Goldwrap, Boon of the Hoarder, and Avarice Band combination.
Build Guide
The Necromancer has risen and it's time to go fast! Important to any class is the ability to farm high Torment as quickly as possible and that's what the Inarius Speed Nova build aims to do. My build relies on increasing your Blood Rush use and movement speed as much as possible so that your time getting to elites is as swift as possible. In this video, you will see what it's like to consistently gather density, Death Nova it up, and Blood Rush off into the night. The Necromancer is still in its early phases and there will likely be ways to improve this build or even changes to the Necromancer that help it along, so stay tuned in the coming weeks.

How do you sustain your resources? Do you need full build to be able to sustain?
Super fun Inarius speed farm build ! ... Nice to not have to worry about LotD cool-downs ... took forever to get a Briggs' Wrath to drop in the cube, but this is worth the wait ! The Briggs' Wrath pulls into Death Nova explosions is priceless. Strongarm Bracers would be a perfect compliment for a GR version ... and a generator might also be needed against single target RGs.
Sorry, forgot to quote your text, Miroresh.
It's a cycle. If you're not killing quickly enough to generate the corpses to keep the Essence coming in, then eventually it runs out. One thing to try might be switching Devour to a generator like Grim Scythe, but it'll slow you down a little.
Best speed farm build I've found with consistent results of sub 4 minute TXIII rift clears for mats. Makes bounties so much more tolerable. Thanks Leviathan!
This build is hilarious, thanks for posting
Sweet build, been running this for quick farming. Swapping out either curse for Ice Golem has very nice synergy with Krysben's Sentance on Elite packs.
Dark Reaping and Devour will recover Essence pretty quickly.
Yes, Vortex is the inverse of Knockback. So think of it like the Monk's Cyclone Strike. It's knocking them back into you.
Did the Mirinae nerf destroy this build?
This isn't even speedy on T11 for me.
Edit: Okay, it's because he's on Paragon 25000.
.
I too am concerned about the Miranae nerf, however BOP or WOT should be decent replacements.
Anyone have any luck getting the Avarice Band? I have been trying for two weeks, haven't found one, haven't been able to cube one, and Kadala is a bitch.
Avarice Band is a reward in Act 3 bounty caches only. You can't get it from any other source.
It can drom from Act 4 caches too. I get it that way at first try after countless Act 3 runs..
I am now smacking my head off the desk. Thank you!
isn't Scythe of the Cycle better than Reilena's Shadowhook in cube?

Where does it say that you can only upvote the best performing builds and not the ones you enjoy playing?
Be reasonable and acknowledge that not everyone wants to play the same build as everyone else.
This build is so bad... you can get up to 50 GR - after that you die - one shot by everything - burn is there - what you do with burn when you just die, die and then die again?
