NOTE: Since so many people have been redirected here for the "corpseless version", I've updated this build page to reflect the current meta version that uses Simulacrum Reservoir and Endless Walk. The previous version uses Moribund's and Johnstone, but pushes at least 5 GRs lower. With that change you give up roughly 3.2x damage while inside LotD to be able to dps during its cooldown. Hunt only elites and don't try to fight without LotD+Sim.
Kill a blue pack every now and then to get your Powerful gem proc up.
Every elite you kill will keep you even with the timer with enough CDR.
You will get ahead of the timer by getting double kills during Pylons or when elites are lured together while waiting on cooldowns.

The main hand is not used for the Grim Scythe's part of the boost. The Bonus dmg to cursed targets is not tied to using that skill it will boost any dmg on cursed targets.
Scythe of the Cycle only works on skill classified as Secondary skills, Corpse lance is not one of them and doesn't benefit from that affix.
The offhand is just filler cause there is no real offhand with a special affix that works with the build(that I know of). Maybe your point on the Lidless Wall might be something worth checking out.
Using Lidless depends on how much elemental damage you have on other gear (amulet/bracers). I think that good offhand can provide much more in terms of damage:
1. base damage increase
2. critical hit chance
3. area damage
4. skill increase damage
In this case (using offhand as purely offensive stat holder), I'd consider Bone ringer to be best, because it comes with natural int and crit chance and only one secondary skill, giving option for good random of two desirable effects. Then we just reroll INT (which becomes attainable via paragons) and roll for third offensive stat.
Also, it's shield, and not phylactery, so it can't roll damage (and I'm not sure, but I think it also can't roll %skill).
So, Jesseth would be great for overall defensive setup, while I still believe that Bone ringer is still best for all offensive variant.
Does this mean that every hit (regardless of skill) will apply random curse because of the weapon?

Hi, no the first text regarding applying random curse only work with Grim Scythe. But the second part "you deal 150–200% increased damage to cursed enemies." That dmg boost is for all attacks against cursed targets, regardless of the source.

One more question: Have you considered not using Land of the Dead (big cooldown) and replacing it with Grim Scythe (decent dps and free curses) or Frailty or you really need if for the amulet's stacks?

I can't talk for the other guys that use this build but imo you don't want to be in melee that much since you use your health to cast spells.
And the neck provides a great dmg boost outside of land of the Dead so i would stay with Land.
1. Blood Lancer - This is your main skill
2. Zei's Stone of Vengeance - melee not an option
3. 1 use of Land of the dead = dead RG, can confirm up to GR85 (or anything else on screen, you literally stream endless hail of lances)

Cool build but there's no way this can do 100+ can barely pull off a 90 and to do a 100 you need 200% more dmg than a 90 so... even with a ton more paragon and augments it won't do 100.

Baskenater is currently pushing 103 with it. I've cleared 94 with 850 paragon 4 augments and missing 6 ancients.
Hello. Why are you using Bane of the Trapped? Nothing procs it? Also, you have no rune under Blood Rush. I am currently using 'Hemostasis' since it removes the health cost. What do you recommend?
by "nothing" you mean "everything"? bane of trapped is procced by itself, dizzying curse(when it's used instead of burrowed time), zei's stone of vengeance and frozen lands.
he has no runes on a blood rush cuz Trag'oul set gives him every rune. so you don't have to choose any
Great build! have three pieces of it primal and most ancient. I was able to push a 95 without too much difficulty. Believe this build could possibly replace the lighting wiz for RG killer.
Question: Should I change this build page to reflect the new meta Blood Lance build topping the boards? Or make a new page? It's a minor change (drop Flesh Golem and Johnstone for Simulacrum and Endless Walk), but changes the playstyle drastically.
