Tankier version for absolute supreme higher greater rift fighting tier GR110+
Difficulty to gear for : Supremely intricate with many variations , this is my personal favourite in use but with Armoury switch fast between speeds and pushes
Find balance between Cooldown reduction - Resource Cost Reduction -Attack speed- and reduce or increase Life , Resistances and Vitality
Dont forget ! Fishing for secondaries on this one Look for increased pick up radius everywhere , but NEVER a priority over the minimum primary stats . If youre a beast yeah sure drop some life / vitality for cooldown.
If you are a new adopter , it is important you feel the difference in the playstyle with different setups of the aformentiond stats rolled on your setup .

As with all builds in Diablo 3 , Prioritize capping your movement speed first. Respect yourself .
All Res gives the most toughness boost among Armour and Life Regen
Life gives you more than Vitality after passing 1,000,000 HP . Atart turning Vit Rolls to Life % passing one million hp .
Minimum targets :
Critical Hit Chance : 40%
Cooldown minimum 54% on gear
Resource cost 25% minimum
Attack speed : when possible
Build Guide
Watch the Green Timer Bar on your skill bar for Ignore Pain , it is your total time to be away from your team to pull enemies then return back at the end before the timer runs out to return and give your team " the combo skills "
"the combo skills " after refreshing Ignore Pain is: Ground Stomp + Threatening Shout + WarCry
Once combo skills applied , take a look and make sure you are always in the center of the enemy pack where your team should be as well efore applying the combo . Dont worry if you miss youll know because that team mate will not ave the Ignore Pain Buff next to his player name on the top left of the screen where all team mates players names and icons show up . In this case scenario spam harpoon to reduce your cooldown and try again fast
Dont forget to breath
Critical Hit Chance : 40%
Cooldown minimum 54% on gear
Resource cost 25% minimum
Attack speed : when possible

Glad you liked it man if you need any more info hit me up on social media ! Happy barbing !
Just a quick question, what do you use for the 5th passive on hellfire?
Cheat death passive , inspiring presence , or any of the 4 mentioned above !
Esoteric as sup barb?
..... try wrath of lightning. wow. such a HUGE MISTAKE.
Im trying to help people here amigo , its an alternative - not a mistake . Thank you for pointing that out although if you're so knowledgable maybe you should spend 20 hours trying to shoot a one hour youtube video and link it to a written guide.
just have a look to leaderboards since 3-4 seasons, everyone has this gem and no barb has esoteric.....
@ahmed307731 thanks for the guide. I am not a support barb player and just trying to learn. Why opt for Coven's Criterion over Stormshield? Isn't a 30% melee damage reduction + better primary affix better than a 60% damage reduction on ~30% of incoming attacks (20% damage reduction to all)?
On ideally rolled gear with Stormshield you would have this maybe?
Hellfire Amulet: ranged 7%
Nemesis Bracer: ranged 7%
Raekor's Chest: melee 7% + ranged 7%
Stormshield: 30% melee
Range % = 19.6%
Melee % = 34.9%
With Coven's you would ideally get equal amounts of both at 13.5% melee / ranged reduction.
So with optimal rolls Stormshield you can get a net (19.6 - 13.5) = 6.1% higher ranged and (34.9 - 13.5) = 21.4 % higher melee and you lose out on the Coven's ~20% damage reduction. So far Coven is winning, but when you throw in the primary affix of 130 AR or 1000 VIT or 8% RCR that becomes pretty even I think.
If you had sub-optimal roles and have no ranged / melee %, then it would be 30% melee damage + primary affix vs. Coven's 20% damage reduction. Again, I think that's pretty even.
Maybe I'm missing something, and I understand that this all theory crafting, but I think both shields are very close and Stormshield is more than 'adequate'. What do you think?
