GEAR OPTIONS:
1) If you don't have ancient Cindercoat:
a) wear aquilas and
if you have legacy magefist--> cube another magefist to get double 20% fire. Or
c) if you don't have legacy magefist equipped, wear aquilas and cube either Belt of Transcendence (if you have ancient Witching Hour) or Leoric's Crown\Mask of Jeram. This is very flexible.
2) I prefer Voo's Juicer for FIRE setup for a a good reason -> it gives better recovery and solves all mana problems for Aquilas Cuirass. With Gazing Demise you have 4 runes at once.
3) With Sacred Harvester equipped you instantly gain 30% more damage reduction at 10 SH stacks but will have less recovery and potential mana issues. Also Voo's Juicer rolls with Spirit Barrage damage.
GEMS:
Amethysts or Rubies in chest and pants (better than diamonds for INT users). Topazes if you can survive.
LEGENDARY GEMS:
Esotetic can be used instead of Enforcer or Stricken for more toughness (Hardcore variant). Zei's Stone is another DPS gem option here. Another decent option is Pain Enhancer instead of Enforcer. IN density it can outdamage Enforcer, but will suck against single target.

Hey guys! So, for some unknown reason Spirit Barrage is STILL considered a pet, even though it does not work withZunimassa anymore. However, it gets Ring of Emptiness buff as well as other buffs from Mask of Jeram and Enforcer gem. I think that this is a bug and potentially will be fixed. However, this bug is not entirely ground-breaking, overpowered or life-changing, it just gives the opportunity to play a powerful spellcaster LON WD build, which in my opinion is great. So let's use this opportunity!
FIRE VERSION OVERALL SHOULD GIVE MUCH MORE DAMAGE THAN COLD VERSION and be MUCH SMOOTHER cause we have FOUR Spirit Barrage runes. But we lose 30% damage reduction IF we use Voo's Juicer
ALSO fire spec is very group-friendly and will perform best with supports.
Use all DPS passives for group setup: gruesome feast, pierce the veil, confidence ritual, and rush of essence + grave injustice
Useful Passives:
1) Gruesome Feast is a crazy DPS boost.
2) Confidence Ritual - another 25% dps multiplier.
3) Swampland Attunement. More damage reduction
4) Jungle Fortitude = +15% flat DR buff
5) Bab Madicine = +25% DR debuff cause you cast a lot of poison
5) Pierce the Veil. MOAR damage but not recommended cause you drop Aquila's bonus fast
6) Fierce Loyalty. Not bad movespeed buff for speedfarming variant.
Useful Skills
1) Locust Swarm - Cloud of Insects. Good debuff for damage reduction, but hard to cast on every single mob. Use it only if you die too much.
2) Zombie Dogs - Leeching Beasts. Can give recovery if you manage to fit them.
3) Horrify - Frightening Aspect, more armor.
STACK AS MUCH ATTACK SPEED AS POSSIBLE (gloves, rings, weapon)

In your GEAR OPTIONS, you say "b) if you have legacy magefist--> cube another magefist to get double 20% fire". This cannot be accurate, because you cannot obtain the same legandary passive twice. I have a +18% legendary magefist. With that equipped my Fire Damage Increase is up at 38%. If I passive Magefist, it doesn't change. If I remove my physical magefist, my Fire Damage Increase goes to 40%. If I re-equip MageFist, it goes back down to 38%.
