Build Guide

Update (Nov/2017): This is not an update for 2.6.1. I just updated because I saw the Rechel's + Pandemonium Loop from Viper, which may actually trigger fear more consistently.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all, I got this conquest (on S9) solo with my crusader (at around 59:55). Since I haven't seen anyone or any guide for the conquest with this class, I'm posting what I used.

It took me quite a few tries, so don't expect to do it easily like with a DH. You'll need gg maps and some luck with speed shrines.

First, I tried using this other build: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/73453-sprinter-guide-for-crusaders

But it quickly became clear to me that it was meant for group conquest only. You'll need every bit of speed you can get. That's the reason I'm using Belt of the Trove to proc Wreath of Lightning. The other skills used have terrible proc coefficients and almost don't proc the gem (that's the main reason this conquest is more difficult with Crusaders).

I didn't have any Chance to Fear % on my gear because I only had Rechel's in the cube, so I relied on Provoke to trigger fear. I expect a little more speed if you can wear the ring.

I had 51.27% sheet CDR. That was enough for perma Steed Charge and almost perma Akarat's Champion. Steed Charge is your main killing skill (this is the reason for all the thorns on the gear), but you'll need Fist of Heavens for those times where monsters are summoned all over the screen (e.g. Belial 1st phase).

Other than that, cast Akarat's Champion, Laws of Hope, Iron Skin and Provoke as soon as you leave Steed Charge so that you don't stop the horse and still are on cooldown. Also try to fill the area with Fist of Heavens while you're waiting for the enemies to appear.

Here are some reference times (taken from the DH clear by Spinal#1421 at Season 1) that you should use to see if you'll make it or not. Act 1, 2 and 5 are the most important ones:

Kill Leoric: 7:20
Kill Queen Araneae: 11:50
Act 2 start: 15:45

Kill Maghda: 18:15
Kill Kulle: 28:25
Act 3 start: 30:30

Kill Ghom: 36:35
Kill Siegebreaker: 38:20
Kill Cydea: 40:30
Act 4 start: 41:20

Kill Rakanoth: 42:25
Kill Izual: 44:30
Act 5 start: 45:50

Kill Urzael: 49:45
Kill Adria: 53:25

Good luck!
