Hellfire Amulet IS NOT mandatory! But it can help by adding the Awareness or Steady Aim passives.
None of the gear items in this list have to be ancient to pull this off as it was successfully tested at P205 with no ancients equipped. You also do not need the recommended items to do this either.
Use Emeralds to fill gear sockets if you have VIT on all recommended and required items, if you are lacking VIT, then use Diamonds. Use Amethyst for helm socket.
Legendary gems also do not need to be lvl 25 to pull this off, but it is recommended that you do, especially for Hardcore.

Build Guide
This is a build I came up with for the Thrill/Super Human Conquest for Demon Hunters. Many people have been having trouble with this conquest for season 7 playing as a Demon Hunter, so I thought I'd share this build and save you all the frustration.
This build was successfully tested at paragon 205, and can also be used in Hardcore mode since you barely take any damage with the setup I have provided.
Everything labeled "Recommended" is purely optional and you can use anything, but the labeled items are BiS (best in slot) for this build.
DUDE! I've registered just to thank you SO MUCH! I've tried many builds, was going crazy because I couldn't get this achievement at Paragon 645. Had 1 million base damage, 11k dex, %38 crit chance and 335% crit dmg, with no luck. But I got it first time with your build. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thanks, glad I could help! :-)
The other builds for this conquest were fucking horrible and required like 1000+ paragons to do it. Yours is so much easier and requires pretty much no paragons or gear! You sir win the award for best Thrill/Superhuman conquest build for DH!
Does anyone know if this build is still viable for this conquest in Season 9?
Seems like it could use an update
Thanks
The build is still viable as none of the items changed nor did the conditions of the conquest. However it looks like the site had an update and some stuff went missing, so I will go ahead and fix that for you all.
Damn man, you made this laughably easy. Tried it on my alt-account and it wrecked, nice work. lol
Heya Val! Thanks for the praise man. Did you try the other builds before this one?
You don't just stand there and shoot, you need to kite elites into more trash and keep shooting and moving forward.
Some suggested updates for more damage and resources.
Replace Cinder Coat in body for 20% more fire, cube The Cloak of the Garwulf
Replace Visage of Gunes in head, don't need Leoric's Crown.
Beauty of a build, still viable for (late) S9 Hardcore. The secret lies with the Zodiac ring keeping (or helping to keep) vengeance up 100%. If RG is taking too long, perhaps switch Powerful to Stricken. I also switched out 'single out' for 'awareness' (for HC) however could very easily run as OP described.
Was low 500 para when i followed the guide however since gearing took me a while, potentially could have run much earlier.
I'm P640 and I am using Level 70 Trapped, 29 Zei's and then a choice of 40 powerful and 70 Stricken. The only item I am missing is the belt.
Am I supposed to be ignoring elites and just killing "trash"?
Not sure what you 2 guys above are doing to complete the GRift, but if you know how to play the primary build for the Unhallowed set, then you shouldn't have much of a problem with this one as they are nearly the same play style.
Same here. Just can't seem to kill anything
I registered here to thank you for posting this! It was driving me nuts trying to complete this conquest and I got it done on the first try with your build!
Grats on that, glad it helped!
