Gear note: You should definitely have 4 APOC on your source. This website wouldn't let me add it so please be aware!

The reason I think this build is better than EB builds is because of it's diversity into switching to long range when you need to, plus the AOE is double that of EB. It can be a tad squishy if you aren't used to Tal builds but its fun as hell. It requires less concentration and you can easily mush sage's into the mix. If you don't need DB's and want to go full power, get rid of sage's, Add the Tal glove and Nilfurs on the feet.

But duke, I'm dying all the time: Switch out boon of the hoarder for a survive gem. You can also switch out Nemesis for ABB's and be fine.

I'm running TX rifts with Sage's in 3.5 minutes average. If you get rid of Sage's you can do rifts in an average of 2.75 minutes easily.

MS, CHC, Armor, and AD should be the first priorities in each tier. Other than that, it's up to you.

Build Guide

This is a Tal Rasha Speedfarming build for TX. It focuses on channeling and it's a nice change of pace from all the EB builds floating around out there. ****This build does not belong to me but it belongs to the Wizard Community on the forums. I'm just the messenger. Gbrav made me do it.

I was playing this during the PTR and loved it.

This build for me, is just faster than EB builds and you don't have to rely on getting a gg Wand of Woh to enjoy Tals.

Playstyle:

Buff Tal's 6 piece. Teleport into packs, watch the AoE work, rinse and repeat. PoTS and Familiar allow you to move lightning quick and not take any AP hit whatsoever.

Please note that you add at least a minute if you run Sage's. Without sage, you can easily hit 2.5 average TX rifts.

NOTE: The video featured is from the PTR, there is no sound and I get bent over with a long cave map right at the end! Trust me this build is fast! With or without Sage's! Also, for some ungodly reason I'm using MM glacial spike as my cold buff >.>
