Convention of Elements
The fifth passive Skill should be cull the weak, any of the 5 i mention will do on the Hellfire amulet. A good amulet alternative would be a Star of Askaranth (fire immunity) to ignore molten explosions.
Other than that, favor crit stats over everything else. Cooldown should be at 38%, no matter where you get it. Cost reduction at ~19% + Cindercoat is your goal. Higher cost reduction is needed when you do not have a hatred/s stat on one of your weapons.
Always remember, a VERY good non ancient amulet or ring will always beat a crappy ancient one. If all item slots but the jewelry is filled with ancient items, you already have 1000% damage boost. Adding another ancient is 1100% (10% boost). The consecutive dps gains until 13 ancients are 9.1% and 8.3%
So whenever you get a non ancient ring or amulet that gives you +10% or more damage copared to the crappy ancient (just imagine you got dex, vit and all res in an ancient one compared to crit, crit, base damage), the non ancient one is BETTER!
In the amulet its even more obvious. If you get a passive that does not help you at all, you will be better off with a non ancient hellfire amulet.

Build Guide
Hey Folks!
This is how i currently farm T10. Its much more relaxing than Multishot and, at least for me, much more fun! I simply love strafe, and this version is not slower than UE Multishot!
The gameplay is so easy that you can only do one thing wrong: staying in molten explosions!
Just autocast your support skills, activate Shuriken cloud and strafe on! No need for In Geom proc on the first elite or anything. Just start and kill!
Check the Video for more information.
Dont get confused by the "slow" 2min30s clear of a T10 rift in the guide. You might notice that i do not take any Pylon or Shrine in that run. Good runs look like that: Trail of Cinder T10 in 1min10s
Mind you, the rifts are not absolutely perfect. An absolutely perfect one has a Power or Conduit Shrine right at the beginning. This would allow sub 1min clears with this build
You can easily run this with low or no paragon levels: ZERO Paragon Challenge with this Build
Cheers,
Dunk
How would you think this might fare in GRs with Sword of Ill Will cubed, and Obsidian Ring in place of CoE, still allowing for perm-Vengeance? Ancient Parthan Defenders + FoK stun rune might be needed as well, but, interesting idea no? That is, assuming that Shuriken Cloud works with SoIW.
Think this may possibly be worthwhile, or better to stick with this as a simple yet fun TX build?
How many ancient items? All?
The problem with these guides nowadays is people are making these in nonseason when they have over 1k+ paragon. Albeit I know there are people at that level in season majority of the people aren't in season so this does not really apply. Having 1577 paragon is a huge difference than the majority of people here and you have significantly more damage because of it.
Have you tried Goldwrap + Boon of the Hoarder? Still good movement uptime with the added bonus of fixing this:
Want to say thanks for this build. Been having a blast with it. Mobs just melt while you blast around like a mad man.
I love how Strafe gets the bonuses from both Fire and Lightning with the inclusion of K'Mar Tenclip (Drifting Shadow Rune). This has given me a few unexpected gearing options.
I am running alot less cool down reduction than you recommend (22%) and do not seem to be having any major issues. Once in a while if things get out of sync, I may have to wait a few seconds to get my hatred to top back up but this does not happen very often and only seems to be an issue if I get too much attack speed increase from other players and pylons at the same time. I could add another 10% from my weapon but it is so very hard to let go of my 10% dps increase already rolled on there.
I am interested to know your thoughts on useing Taguk. It spins up so fast and give you some excellent dps and extra suvivability to boot. Since you are not really looking for the attack speed from Pain enhancer, it seems to be an excellent option here.
I've been using Taguk in this build as well, you don't even have to manage it, so it's one of the few builds where I like running it. Mine stacks up to 110, so it's a nice damage increase once you spin it up.
What were your character stats in the 1 min clears? I'm averaging around 3 mins, some slightly under, some slightly over. But my stats are pretty decent, even have 6 pieces of infused (level 60) items.
I've just started on this build. I rolled a new DH, and I've still been able to rock T8 (@800p) with only 7 ancient items and unoptimized. Bravo!
I decided to do some testing / theory crafting with this build, so I opened up my spreadsheet and bounced the numbers. Here are my findings:
Hopefully this helps anyone who has open questions or was wondering the same as I was. Thanks again for the rockin' build. Take care!
This build is a pain to gear for, not getting any cindercoats of visuges of gunes. but only missing them ancient for it. excited to try it.
