Legendary Gems
Kanai's Cube
This build is exactly what every wizard is looking for when farming Torment X. You will get the maximum amount of Death Breath while being the fastest wizard possible.
Gameplay :
Step 1 : Enter the rift and kill 1-2 white mobs to pick up gold for survivability.
Step 2 : Find an elite pack and kill it to get in-geom's proc.
Step 3 : Keep killing elites within a ~10 seconds timeframe to keep in-geom's proc going.
Rotation :
Step 1 :Build up your 4 stacks of Tal'Rasha ASAP.
Step 2 : Kill an elite pack to proc in-geom.
Step 3 : Keep pressing Explosive Blast (don't release the button) and teleport to the next elite pack.
Step 4 : Engage every elite pack by casting Electrocute to proc your Focus while keeping your Explosive Blast button pressed. Watch the elite melt.
P.S : there is NO NEED to cast frost nova at any time once you have your 4 stacks of Tal'Rasha. You might need it for the extra cold meteor and +5% bonus on elemental exposure if you are struggling with DPS (not one shotting elites) though.
Warzechian, Storm Armor Scramble, Boon of the Hoarder, Illusionist are your movement speed bonus because Wizard is too slow at farming otherwise compared to other classes, teleport is not fast enough because it has a huge GCD. You will spend a lot of time running waiting for Death Breath to drop from elites.
Swap to Nemesis bracers before clicking shrines as usual.
Corruption shoulders are +7 pickup radius now. You want pickup radius on every piece if possible. Looting globes is MANDATORY if you want to be efficient.
Goldwrap will make you invulnerable to all damage once you start gathering gold.
P.S : Get your cosmetic pet out, it will loot gold for you and extend goldwrap's buff.
I will make a video guide about this build, in the meanwhile you can watch me use it everyday on my streams :

U must try with the gold amount picked up gain armor belt i don't remember that item name with bane of the horder gem. Immortal on any difficulity, and still strong and fast. Must try build. Put Warzechian bracer in to cube, and wear nemesis. Lot more fun!
boon of the horder*
Exactly, I totally realize exactly how this build works, and why every piece of gear, and what the stat priorities ought to look like (even without the info you provided), and I even understand exactly how to play it.
The point is though, a descriptive build write-up should be made, for two reasons: First, because many people who are browsing these builds don't have that knowledge; second, because there is always that off chance that some of the more experienced players out there may notice something in your description that can either be learned from, or corrected.
Anyways, nice build, I'll stay neutral with the like because there is no description.
Does this build require at minimum 50% CDR to be successful? Most of the In-Geom builds do
Thanks for the guide. I beat the Set Dungeon with this build with little to no trouble.
Added description.
I hope it's precise enough, as I said I will probably make a video guide of me running the build in Torment X, in the meanwhile, watch my streams
If my weapon has Cold Damager for example, do i still need Frost Nova? Can I swap for another skill?
Instead of Familiar, Diamand Skin with Prism wouldn't be better?
Wizards still the slowest class at farming, teleport still has a cooldown.
D3 designers just boggle my mind.
Quit my Wizard after 2.2; other classes were just far, far better (dash monk anyone?). Still are.
In my oppinion the build worked better without cindercoat but ok ... the200% meteor dmg helped me with rg and elites now i use a lot of time on killing them....
Hi, thanks for the build!
About the Woh, I just got an ancient with 2550 DPS. Do I roll for more damage or CDR?
Armor reduces all kind of damage, not just physical. You will get toughness in the billions pretty fast, making you practically invincible.
So you either don't use boon, you are not collecting gold correctly paced, or you do not kill the mobs fast enough to keep the goldwrap buff up.
Rifts do not really give that much exp (GR do). You are there to get
death breaths and whatever other mats you pick up along the way. Going
into a 4 man party you will have things to worry about such as people
closing the rift and back tracking for all your death breath.
What's the purpose of the cindercoat? This build doesn't really seem to have resource problems without it, and with the Tal'Rasha's chest you can get Int/Vit/Armor/EB Damage% and still have sockets.
Nice guide!
Sorry for noob question, but where from ?
Boon of the Hoarder*
About to role a wizard and was gonna try this.
i just want to make sure I understand Tal's 6 peice bonus, your frost nova comment confused me a little.
i need to use the 4 elements to get my 4 stack buff. Frost nova, electrocute teleport and explosive blast. Now that I have the 4x buff up, all I need to do "alternate elements" to refresh the timer? So I can go 1-2-1-2-1-2 to refresh the buff, I don't necessarily have to go 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4. Is that correct? So it's really teleport between mobs, electrocute for gainer FNR buff, and explosive blast for the damage/spender buff.
Also Deadset has a very similar build on icy-veins, with you magic weapon - conduit skill swapped out for diamond skin-prism. Any comments on the differences between the two? Is one better for resource management than the other?
i plan on eventually running this with SOJ/avarice band for the rings and boom of the hoarder/wreath of lightning as the gems, to better synergize with warchezian speed boosts and Goldwrap armor buffs.
thanks!!
