Convention of Elements
NOTE: Hellfire Amulet Passive = Indestructible, or any of the displayed passives above.
PROS:
Cleans rooms in seconds up to GR70.
Has high damage reduction and sustain.
Has good crowd control.
Is fun watching the room get disintegrated after a few shield throws.
CONS:
Single target damage is questionable til CoE procs.
Very difficult build to gear for, especially the pants since you need a WD to get them, even then it's nearly impossible.
For running T13 content:
If you have an ancient Leoric's Crown and Nemesis Bracers handy, wear them both and use Akkhan's Manacles in the cube armor slot. Also if you have ancient Gloves of Warship, wear those instead of St. Archew's Gauge since you don't need that much toughness for this setting. You can also swap out Holy Cause or Indestructible (if you happen to have a good amulet with either of these passives) for Lord Commander to maximize Steed Charge duration in conjunction with using Swiftmount for long treks.

Core - MS (movement speed) is always maxed first. Pending on your gear and paragon level, you will need to allocate your STR and VIT however you need. MR (maximum resource) is useless to you because of Gyrefalcon's Foote.
Offense - Crits are your primary source of damage, max these first. CDR next for cooldown-based abilities, and IAS (increased attack speed) last for more DPS.
Defense - Standard leveling stats.
Utility - LoH (life on hit) first for sustain, and then AD (area damage) for more DPS. RCR (resource cost reduction) is useless to you because of Gyrefalcon's Foote.
Build Guide
A build using Blessed Shield I am testing for the Crusader using the Legacy of Nightmares ring set. Currently at GR82, trying to push farther provided I stop getting crappy layouts with poor density.
EDIT: Had to fix some things on display again, damn site...
EDIT 2: Revised build for GR pushing.
