- Affixes
- Orange are required. Yellow are preferred. Green are the easiest to exchange or make due without.
- Secondary resists are preferred on items. In general, shoot for at least 450k life, 400% CHD, 50% CHC, and 90% AD.

- CDR
- With CDR listed, you will have 66.3% CDR. This allows for a 2s CD on EB, 4s CD on Black Hole, and 3.69s CD on Teleport.
- Quicker casts = more Tal Rasha uptime, more damage, and increased CC / survival.
- Area Damage
- You'll want at least 2 affixes dedicated to area damage. With paragon, this will give you at least 90% AD.
- For a bit more info on area damage, see this video. Chain Reaction's fast attack allows AD to proc fairly often.
- Legendary Gems
- Pain Enhancer- Bleed is nice for speedy setup. Damage wise I found it to be about equal in power to Bane of the Trapped. So this can be swapped if you prefer. Procs off of Wreath of Lightning.
- Wreath of Lightning - Mini-conduit that deals instant damage to all enemies around you when procced. The run speed seals the deal on this one.
- Boon of the Hoarder - Provides the gold needed to gain defense via Goldwrap.
- Other
- May have to assign Inspire and RCR paragon, but should not have any problems with AP regen.

- Core: If you opted for %Movement on boots, roll the extra points into INT.
- Offense: After CDR, CHC=CHD in priority, add them in balance.
- Utility: RCR>AD in priority only if you are having issues with AP regen.
Build Guide
Purpose
- Farm T7-T8 for death's breath or bounties. Shock Trooper boasts high mobility, ease of dealing out damage, and of course, mini conduit.
- Easy to gear up to ancient, since you can craft your weapon, and many other pieces as well.
- Super fun to play! You don't have to think about teleporting around like you would with In-Geom.
Strategy
- Stun enemies with Teleport (Calamity). CC and group enemies together with Black Hole (Supermassive).
- Attacking with Shock Pulse (Explosive Bolts) often will help proc Wreath of lightning. Shock Pulse pierces enemies and has a high proc coefficient.
- Run over gold to gain defense and speed. Kite the rift boss near other mobs or extra gold and pick up occasionally as needed.
- Run speed items and bonuses are a focus of the build - allows you to quickly move between packs.
Passives
Configuration
- Use Teleport on left click to easily direct your character without activating force move. Use (force stand + teleport) to activate Teleport.
- Use the num lock method on Explosive Blast. While the casting is not perfect (I notice ~.3s gap between blasts), it is better than I do in rotation.
