Considering the heavy focus towards fitting as much exp boosting items as possible compared to the other two variants of the generator SC support healer, this setup has a lot tighter requirements when it comes to stat rolls. The main one would be because we'd be dropping Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac. In order to retain the somewhat similar capabilities to the normal variants of the build, in terms of mobility (Epiphany teleport + Illusory Boots), spirit (via Insight), and Inner Sanctuary uptime, we would have to rely on having Gogok of Swiftness and made sure that every piece of our gear that can be rolled CDR are rolled with CDR. Even with this it would not guarantee a 100% IS uptime, but should be more than enough for a mid 60 GR speed runs.

Couple of notes:
If for some reason, you're struggling to survive, or trying to use this build for relatively higher GR levels, I would recommend replacing either Strongarms Bracers or the Illusory Boots with Spirit Guards with cube or by gear.
The Hellfire passive you're looking for, aside from the four already listed on the guide are : Resolve (for party survivability) or Seize the Initiative (for faster runs), so any of the six listed passives are fine for the Hellfire.
The reason why we're using Pig Sticker here is that it's one of the few 1-hd weapons able to have five primary stats, thus allowing us to get the trifecta : CDR, RCR and AS on one weapon. Any other weapons, even a Stormshield would still do just fine.
Yes, we don't use Crudest Boots, mainly because this build is designed to run mid 60s up to low 70s depending on paragon and party composition. Having a relatively lower LPS should be fine in that GR range, for instance I have roughly 750k LPS using this same setup and my party has never had any issues surviving GR70 speed runs.

Recommendations (please read) :

  • I strongly suggest dropping Leoric's Signet and opt for Obsidian Ring of Zodiac. The additional exp you'll get from Leoric is almost inconsequential to the amount of increased uptime of Inner Sanctuary Zodiac provides, in addition to this, the Zodiac also allows you to use Desert Shroud as the Epiphany rune which adds to your survivability during runs. Nothing will annoy your group more than healers who dies here and there and the lack of IS on tight situations.
  • You can also opt for Stormshield if you have trouble surviving, yes your Attack Speed will drop, but on normal situations it would still be quite fine.
  • Gogok gives you higher party DPS overall than Toxin due to the slight IAS increase it provides, however, using Toxin is also a viable alternative epsecially when you don't have an SC monk with you.
  • If, for some reason you group keeps dying to the lack of LPS (this is very rare and most of the time your LPS might not even be the main cause), you can swap Illusory Boots with Crudest Boots. This would significantly reduce your mobility and it's not recommended.

Important Note! While this is less of an issue in mid level GRs, try to dump Area Damage if possible, you'll gain very little from it and it adds unnecessary lag albeit minor to your party.

Build Guide

Before I start, this build is designed to work with a Static Charge Monk in your party, but unlike the other two variants, this build should work just fine regardless of party composition while still provide an extra boost when you do bring an SC Monk with you. This build is primarily focused on having as many exp gear as possible.

This build is one of the three variants of the Static Charge Healer build :

This build tries to keep the best of both worlds, having enough exp gear fitted in and also trying to boost your SC Monk's dps as far as the setup allows. Being that, it lacks some parts of what made a generator healer exceptional when paired with a Static Charge Monk. But offers you something else in return (that is experience boost).

Playstyle

    • Make sure that the party knows of any changes you made outside of the usual/older meta healers, this can go from the lower relative LPS, lack of Illusory Boots (if you opted for LPS instead), or something else.
    • General playstyle revolves around you leading the party (not the other way around), looking for density.
    • Find places where you think you can get the most density and has relatively bigger space then the path you've travelled so far. This place is usually an intersection or big open spaces where mobs can come from different directions.
    • Aim for a mob at the center, best would be something that can't be pulled like Hellhide Tremors, Golgors or an elite, but generally any mob roughly at the center of the spot would do. Start hitting that mob with your generator and/or hold shift and hit the ground near it. Straight after :
      • Drop an Inner Sanctuary, this is the most important task for a healer, not the Cyclone Strike, not the generator hits, but your IS. Just like Puller Barb's Ignore Pain, most decent GR runners will judge you by your IS uptime, where you place it, and how good you are at keeping it up, especially during tough situations.
      • Start pulling mobs using Cyclone Strike (don't go overboard and spam it like there's no tomorrow, use it sparsely) while holding your generator, don't stop hitting. Remember, keep IS up!
      • Keep hitting something with your generator or holding shift while hitting while you're doing the two above.
      • Manage your pulls! lots of dps will hate you if you keep inching (shifting around your IS placements for no reason), using Cyclone Strike like mad and throwing mobs around making it harder for your dps to hit and to apply EP. Balance your Cyclone Strike casts to pull mobs towards you, and keeping IS and Epiphany cooldowns from Zodiac and Proc'ing Strongarms Bracers buff. This might take getting used to if you're new and considered slightly advanced in terms of soft-skill, but you will be good at it eventually if you aren't already.

  • Depending on what you're doing (climbing or speedruns) and what your party comp. are. Move when you think there's not enough density for your SC and EP monks. And bail out when you feel like the situation's too dangerous to stick around. Things that might require your team to bail are Arcane affixes in tight corridors, too much Frozen affixes, Frozen Pulse affix, more than 2 elite packs in higher GRs (sometimes more than one), Mallet Lords, or some other things, use your judgement.
  • Find another good density and repeat the process.
