Hello, DatModz here! Introducing the Uliana's Critical Hit Chance Convention of Elements(CoE) Build. This build is more consistent and has higher damage output than the Broken Promises Uliana's Monk Build, but does take a survivability hit since the need for an extra damaging affix. Overall it seems to be the best build atm for Solo Greater Rift play!
Basic Overview
- Auto Attack with Way of the Hundred Fists: Assimilation and get HUGE stacks of the buff and apply your exploding palm via Uliana's Set, Seven Sided Strike and Profit
- When you get a Convention of Elements Cold proc apply Exploding Palm manually to benefit from Mythic Rhythm(Use blind if it is off cooldown before you apply EP if possible)
- Use Dashing Strike to gain 40% dodge defensively
- Cast Blind to buff every other Seven-Sided Strike
- Epiphany on Cooldown
- Preferred Stacking Resist: Physical
- Make sure to maintain your Focus & Restraint Buffs for 125% damage boost!

Very detailed.
Great job, thanks Modzerini
Thanks for the build guide, Modz. Now I don't have to ask questions
Spirit Regen to 10% Cool Down. Congrats on the roll!
Sorry if this is a dumb question. Why is Vit prioritised on weapons over say +Damage? Is it purely related to lack of survivability in Higher GR's? Cheers and thanks for the build guide.
ps. and another side question. I have a nice ancient hellfire with with Alacrity, is this passive ok as a 5th for this build or should I keep rolling?
Vit is better for higher greater rifts, we need to stay alive through one-shotting mechanics. Plus all of our damage is coming from EP Explosions, and the elemental damage that goes with it. Weapon damage would give EP a little more damage, yeah, but not enough to be worth losing so much health over.
Depends on your previous amulet. It's definitely not ideal, but if you don't already have a Hellfire equipped, or another amulet with better stats it won't hurt.
Thanks Skillster, that was very helpful, on both points. Given what you say I'll stay with my Vit rolled anceint weapons, and will keep working on a hellfire with +cold/cc and cd and a better passive. Cheers!
Great guide, absolutely love the crit build instead of the Broken promises. Not sure which is more powerfull in the end, time will tell but it is more fun (and consistent) to play with crit on gear
Wait, where is Blind in the skills? I see it listed in the description, but not in the actual build. Was confused on why you use "Bane Of The Trapped" and didn't have any form of CC. Can someone clear this up for me?
EDIT:Nvm I see some other people have the same question and it's been answered.
Exactly how does Mythic Rhythm benefit the U6 monk?
Wasn't Crippling Wave on this build? Why the change?
Wrong button
Why not have area damage on items? Doesn't that increase damage big time?
