More Details
  • Legendary Gems

    • Enforcer
    • Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard
    • Boon of the Hoarder

Kanai's Cube

  • Scythe of the Cycle
  • Goldwrap
  • Ring of Royal Grandeur

Stat wise you can very heavily prioritize offense because of the set bonuses. In fact, you can ignore defensive stats entirely. INT / Phys% / Mage% / Crits / AS / CDR are your main focus

Guardian's Jeopardy is now a major boost, especially in the early game. Definitely recommend going for Belt over Helm as the Helm can be a major pain in the ass to roll for desired stats.

Jesseth's + Scythe of the Cycle for the big multipliers

Goldwrap + Boon combos for infinite toughness

Molten shields your Squirt's damage buff

Enforcer can be swapped to Trapped in order to utilize Krysbin's initial damage buff on enemies within 15 yards

Dayntee's is a cube option for bounties

In Season 27 the Sanctified theme powers have no real impact on this build so I would recommend just using the Crucibles as a way to reforge/reroll your "weakest" item slot, starting with your weapon. Once you find an ancient Scythe that's comparable, move onto the next "weakest" item (more than likely a jewelry slot) and repeat as you find replacements.

Paragon Priorities

Core

Movement Speed
Primary Stat
Vitality
Maximum Resource

Offense

Critical Hit Damage
Critical Hit Chance
Attack Speed
Cooldown Reduction

Defense

Armor
Resist All
Life Regeneration
Life

Utility

Gold Find
Area Damage
Resource Cost Reduction
Life on Hit

Gold Find = Pickup Radius of course

Life and Resources are essentially the last of your worries, just go straight for Movement/INT, all Offense attributes are great, Armor/Resist and Radius/AD

Build Guide

The reworks on Trag's and Guardian's provide enough of a boost in damage to be viable again and in T16. There's quite a bit of QOL in that the Mages are basically "free" to cast now with Trag's and the gameplay doesn't require a lot of technical ability. It's a prety chill build and it's also HC friendly. I have had no problem (solo) on PTR with ~400 paragon, non-ancient semi-optimized gear, Sanctified Scythe and a relatively low level Enforcer. With 600-800 paragon and a level 75-80+ DPS gem, ~2 minute Neph Rifts should feel normal. This makes for a great alternative to Death Nova if/when hangin' solo.

Start the rift by getting your 10 Mages up. They cost zero essence and Molten will immediately replenish your life. Use Skeles and Bone Armor to proc both of your Scythes and on elites/champions to proc Krysbin's triple bonus. You can also target elites with Mages by right clicking directly on them; for doors you can use Skeles in the same way (if PC). Make sure to keep your Skeles active and Bone Armor up-- remember that Scythe of the Cycle decreases your Bone Armor duration but between LIfe Support, Extended Servitude and Nailuj your Mages will have a 12-15 second duration (depending on Nailuj roll) so there's no need to stutter step/spam them.

Avarice Band (follower) expands your Auras to better synergize with Spreading Malediction and Fueled By Death. Dark Reaping and Extended Servitude are basically QOL as there aren't any other super beneficial passives for this build so if you play HC then just take your pick on which one to drop for Final Service.

I haven't really pushed too far into GR's yet with this build and Razeth's/Singularity is another option to further explore. Leave a comment if you're testing how far this can comfortably go.
