Landing a Critical Hit has a chance to increase the vortex effect up to 3 stacks for a total of 315% weapon damage.

While your vortex is at 3 or more stacks, enemies damaged by Sweeping Wind for 3 consecutive seconds are Frozen for 2 seconds.

4th Cube Slot: Warstaff of General Quang

This is a Season 22 update for fans of bigdaddyden's (PoJ Tempest Rush GR Ultra Speeds s19 2.6.7 - Monk - Diablo III Builds - DiabloFans)

This build is for speed runs on T16 rifts (Not GRs) and can accomplish some bounties. Bosses get pretty difficult at times due to lack of gold. Anywhere there is gold though, you should be good to go. This also provides all armor need to survive in the worst of situations. As long as you have the kills going, gold dropping, you should be carrying 97-99.99% damage block through armor.

First Priorities will be Resource Cost Reduction (30%+) and Getting Ancient Weapons. It will be incredibly hard without those things. You may need to use a Topaz in the helmet slot. If you got pretty decent gear, use Emeralds on all other sockets. You can use diamonds if you are dying a lot, but once you pick up any gold, the diamonds are wasted.

There are many variations to the build because of the 4th cube slot, below is my favorite varient for when I get low on Death's Breath.

Sage's variant:

-Swap sage's in for belt/boots

-Swap Nem's with Cesar's

=Cube

-Swap Casers with Goldwrap

-Swap Racheal's for Grandeur

-Swap Echoing Fury with Warstaff of General Quang

Build Guide

If you need Gold, this is a great place to start. It has the added benefit of being one of the fastest builds ever for the game. Works with regular rifts and most bounties. Once you get enough Caldesann's, you will be able to crush everything without any issues. This build does depend heavily on the ability to get gold, so GRs are pretty much impossible.
