Gears of Dreadlands is a new set introduced in Patch 2.6.9, so it's likely that the best builds will evolve and change throughout Season 21 and beyond. Check back for updates!

There are a few choices in gear you can make. I talk over some of the scenarios below.

Jewelry: The current setup is the best for min-maxing into movement speed once your build does enough damage to quickly take down T16 Nephalem Rifts, but if you do need more damage early on, you can always go with the standard Focus and Restraint setup and eventually transition to Stone of Jordan and Rechel's Ring of Larceny.

Weapons & Quivers: The best setup, in my opinion, is what is listed above, but you do have some options like Cubing a Fortress Ballista instead of Echoing Fury and then using a different Legendary Gem instead of Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard (discussed below). You will lose some movement speed with this alternative, but pick up some more damage potentially. Once your gear is good enough though, you'll have all the damage you need for T16 and will want to index towards more movement speed. Another consideration for the weapon is wearing a Yang's Recurve for the massive amount of resource cost reduction. If you find yourself running out of Hatred often, that's one way to solve it.

Legendary Gems: If you go with Squirt's Necklace as your amulet, you want some kind of shield to protect your life from taking any hits and knocking your Squirt's bonus off. You can achieve this with the Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard or Fortress Ballista (discussed above). If you go with the one-handed crossbow, then you can change Molten Wildebeest to Bane of the Trapped for more damage or even Wreath of Lightning for more movement speed when it triggers.

Sockets: Flawless Royal Diamond in helm and Flawless Royal Emeralds in weapons, chest, and pants.
