Weapons Master: +3 Fury Per Hit with Mighty Weapons
OP Combos:
Throw + Ricochet: 1 Fury per throw. Spam it all day long.
Whirlwind + Eye of the Storm: 3 hits per second (?) * x enemies in range * 4 fury per hit = 12x fury per second. Fury cost/gain represented by: y=12x-14.
x=3, y=22 fury gained per second
They won't let Weapon Master remain at 3 fury per hit. Guaranteed.
Pretty sure the +3 fury per hit is only going to work with fury generators. No way of knowing though but you're right, if it does work on spenders as well then it will be OP.
or maybe just not let it generate fury on spenders?
Even if it only works on fury generators, it still unbalances everything. At minimum, it makes Leap, Charge, and (maybe) Stomp the best skills in the game:
Ah, I forgot you're part of the development team that's been alpha and internally testing this for almost a year. Yay for inside info. ORRR, instead of definitively calling something without any actual proof or facts (I can name 5 times as many so called OP'd skills from other classes) maybe start a discussion on it.

Whether it works on spenders or not, you've essentially got infinite fury.
Ok. So you have nearly infinite fury! But the question is what are you going to burn it on? you only have 3 slots left. perhaps:
Whirlwind - Any rune
WotB - Thrive on Chaos
Threatening Shout - Intimidate
But really what you're looking at is using 3-4 seconds out of every 10 or so to generate a large amount of fury, then you have 6-7 seconds to blow it on something. I don't feel that's any more powerful than most of the other barb builds i've seen.
You could even ASSUME you'll be at max fury all the time and get Berzerker Rage (passive) for a simple 25% damage boost!
I don;'t think it is OP. infact in crowded fights. Just having ***Charge - Merciless Assault could be chained NON-STOP. as if you hit 5 enemies the CD is reduced to 0. That's literally 15 Fury every second.
It's worth noting that you were working under the assumption that you are always hitting people with your whirlwind, multiple people in fact. It's highly unlikely every tick of WW will hit 3+ enemies, far more likely is hitting 0 on at least half the ticks, 1-2 on most of the rest. You won't be wading through dozens of in every fight.
1.) Mighty Weapons are always 2H - You already lose the benefit (stat and damage bonuses) from the offhand.
2.) Mighty Weapons are slow. - The whole reason they added this was to make it so mighty weapons were actually viable. Before you would generate fury slower than all other weapons.
I'm not really sure where you're getting your info from Sabvre, but it's pretty much all wrong, if you look at the Blizzard D3 site as of right now. However, while looking up weapon swing speeds you may notice that 2H mighty weps have a swing speed of 1.0 attacks per second, while the 1H mighty weapons are 1.3-1.5 attacks per second. This indicates that this information will be different in the actual game.

Playing a Wizard. Looking for Demon Hunters to play with.
Can we get additional information on the stats and damage bonuses from offhand weapons? Additional info on the deficiencies of mighty weapons would also be appreciated.
Edit: "Deficiencies" is a freaky word. Defi-cien-cies. Looks french or something, and it has "cie" followed by "cie". Creepy as hell!

That's what this is. Discuss away.
damnit OP why you gotta let everyone know about rigged shit, now they're bound to adjust it.

THE BARB BOMB! - Check out the Weapon Throw rune.
I hope this will be as awesome in-game as on paper for mega lulz.
