The best part of switching magic find gear currently is having to finish off an elite in subpar gear. This difficulty element should be preserved as we've clearly seen a trend already with nerfing content, please keep some aspects of the game difficult. Also from an economic point of view encouraging people to have multiple sets of gear stimulates the economy by creating demand for more items.
So I propose a different solution, first add in swapping system that people just click a button to change gear. Second alleviate personal storage by allowing people to switch from their stash, and lastly force people to switch at a certain percent like 5 or 10% and couple it with a visible aura around the mob like coins dropping from him or something along these lines.
Please blizzard do not keep nerfing things without preserving the difficulty and maintaining the details of this game which make it fun.

MaxRebo posted a message on Has blizzard given up on diablo 3?Since they're pushing more patches and still trying to fix issues, I'll give a qualified "no" as my answer. Why would any company give up on a game that's been available for less than two months? That's just silly to assume... HC problems would annoy me, but damn, some people have zero patience. I'm sure there are many people who claim they could do much better in far less time. I'd wager they would be wrong.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion -

Bulltank posted a message on Has blizzard given up on diablo 3?Just like with every video game.... tons of people buy.... many play it once and never come back.. even more play it a few times, or for a month or so, then move on to the next game.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Some games have the power to keep you lured in for a long time. Some games have great re-playability... and some don't. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Hell I've never had an auction that sold for more than 500k and that was once. So in the "2 week streak" of back luck, I think my luck has been mediocre.

Personally, I played every single Diablo game and expansion from the beginning. Diablo 3 has given me the things I loved and added some features that really did improve the game, AH love it or hate it makes it a lot easier to access upgrades outside of the grind.
I love the events, I'm still trying to find a few I missed. I wish there were more but hopefully an expansion will bring that to us.
I love that honestly the online only really has cut back a good deal of issues Diablo 2 had, there's a problem when duped unique's become the standard currency. I know there's some issues and people will say botters are making a fortune between both AH's still. I feel like Blizz is putting forth the time and effort to take care of this as the game develops from it's current state of infancy.
I love having a follower if I choose to play single player and having options as to what type of help I need. Currently my DH has a Templar with 100k hp, getting him to that point was actually fun and seeing him survive more than 2 hits also is great lol.
While I don't love getting crappy rares to vendor, that moment when you get something that's an upgrade or that you know you could sell off for a nice profit to buy your upgrade. That's what keeps me playing. Some people love the grind and those are probably the people who will have constructive contributions to this thread. I am one of those people.
