    Quote from Ally25

Playing a TR monk I usually just run through trash 1 shotting it all. So yea I wonder how many lvl 63s or rings, ammys or even legendaries I have missed because Blizzard refuses to add a real Legendary drop alert and bans anyone for using a good addon that does nothing but lets you know a Legendary dropped. I prefer to listen to music while I play games not have the game sound maxed out with no other noises in my house so maybe I can hear a legendary drop

You can't see a big lazer beam shooting up at the sky or the blip for about 5 seconds on your mini map? I run the same way and have never used sound in d3 yet have never had an issue spotting a legendary.

Either way even before they added the beams I realized missing legendaries is the price I might pay for speed running...

Well for 20 mill you could get quite a few upgrades, nothing BiS really but still get quite a few major improvements.

First your shoulders could easily be upgraded search for something about 90+ vit, 140+str, and 50 resist all. You can pick up one around that for 2-4 mil. Key theres is the seachr parameters. If you search 100+vit, 140+str and 60 resist your going to pay 4+mil more for something thats not much better.

Also rings and amulet, since you havent started getting in to adding crit damage, IAS, or resists, you could easily get rings with 75+ str and vit and 3.5+ crit for 1 mil or less, and an amulet with around 150+str, 90 vit, and 6+ crit for about the same.

Chest you could upgrade for about 2-4 mil by searching 150+ vit, 50 resist all, and 3 sockets. no it doesnt have str, but the 3 sockets will net you over 100 str which is often overlooked and with the large amount of vit you can get for cheap it becomes quite good.

Another thing thats not a necessity, but something I found to be a savior quite a few times when I was WW/Sprint for a cheap price, is The Burning Axe of Sankris, you can get one with 850+ DPS, 550+ LoH and a socket for around 1 mil now. But the great thing about this weapon is the proc, with is a 65% damage reduction and procs a lot.

One last thing is while searching for rare keep an eye out for reduce melee or ranged damage, often people overlook this stat and it wont add much to the price of the item.
