I'm not completely sure if you will be able to do T3 yet but you should be able to do atleast what you are doing now and get some better synergy with your Maximus. You should also look into replacing your boots with a pair that has Sweep damage aswell if you're going to try this build out. I don't see any reason for you currently to stick with lightning damage since you still have more fire damage.and it should mean an overall dps increase for you.Quote from Moltres
I love the Maximus on my Crusader.
I only have + fire damage on my 2h weapon, and can get it on my bracers if needed for a total of +36% Damage to Fire Skills. I currently run a lightning hammer build (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Moltres-1908/hero/44882667) with only +28% Damage to Lightning/Blessed Hammer.
I can easily run T1 rifts, and am a bit slower on T2 right now. Do you think with my current gear (if I re-roll bracers to fire damage) that this build would work? I want to get an Andy's Visage and a new neck (for fire damage) if RNG will let me.

Let me give you some examples...
You flip a coin, 50% chance, or 1/2 chance to get heads, and 50% to get tails. Just because you flip the coin 4 times, doesn't mean it can't show up H H H H. The EXPECTED value, would be any variant of H H T T, as long as they are even.
MF gives you increased CHANCE to get rare items.
This is an example of your flawed logic:
You buy 10 Lottery Tickets.
I buy 1 Lottery Ticket.
I win the lottery, and you do not. You would say that the lottery system is broken... Just because you have more tickets (MF) doesn't mean you automatically get the jackpot. Please sit down, and accept RNG is RNG, and not some broken conspiracy against you.
