posted a message on Some MF advice please
    Hey guys!

    Back from a 2 month break from D3 (Borderlands2Torchlight2Skyrimlolz)

    And I see there have been many changes to the game, so;

I am very much in MF hunt mode, still low Paragon, and am at the point where I am farming for that magical "final set" of gear for when im capped out Paragon. (IK damn-it, shoot for the stars!)

    Here is the MF gearz;

    http://us.battle.net...3/hero/13476214

Now, I would assume that Act 3 is still the hotspot?

What would you guys recommend for MP settings with this setup? Should I go lower MP 1-2 and fast? Or slog through a higher MP?

Is the MF cap now at 375%? I hit 305 with 5 stacks ATM, should I be targeting said break point?

posted a message on Why do you play D3?
I just came back from a little hiatus from D3 (not an angry one, a omfg BL2/TL2/Walking Dead/Skyrim gotta get playin' kinda hiatus), and hot damn! The new stuff is sweet! (I missed the last 2 patches)

Diablo 3 is fun, I also enjoy how my fantasy "Rend" 2H Barb build is massively improved. ;p

I think, what OP means, is that if the same guy, under similar circunstances, tried to do the same in D2, he would fail miserably.

    lol

    WAT?

Did you ever even play D2?

Can anyone confirm that it actually drops in VotA?

Any Legendary or Set has the potential to drop in the Vault. (albeit a small chance)

*with exception to low level stuff, obviously.

if it is a bot it will get banned.

So far blizz has proved us otherwise. They are doing nothing, bots run rampage and they are just sitting back, smiling, with their hands on lap counting money from RMAH.

    ORLY?

    Fun fact;

Massive log in issues with GW2 launch.

    lolz.
    Newsflash....

    ... more at 11 :D

That's expected for most high profile games nowadays.

I know that, you know that, but you remember D3's launch right? Yeah.

They even have their own "Error 42", that will become a meme.

I just love pointing this out to the people who thought GW2 would destroy all things Diablo 3.

A little dose of reality for the masses.

    Another ONLINE ONLY GAME.

If you think Arena Net doesnt have network issues from time to time you are hilariously misinformed.

This should never ever ever ever happened, under any circumstance for any reason. Blizzard should be forced to provide financial compensation for every failed login, its the only language these people understand.

Why are login, passwords, and internet required to play a game that 90% of people play single player?

    roflol

    Self entitled much?

Game has always been advertised as online only, you directly supported online only when you BOUGHT the game.

Online only comes with some server issues now and then, thats the reality, come to terms with it.

If you dont want to support online only, why would you BUY an online only game?

Your a hypocrite, and a moron.

    Brevik doesn't work on Torchlight.

He did Hellgate, Mythos and... not really sure passed that. Obviously Diablo 1 and 2.

You have them all there, he is sitting at a 50% record for good/bad.

Marvel Heroes will be the game that tips the scale one way or the other.

Please note how Brevik was the ONLY one left out of Schaefer and Co.s new studio.............. (when they were all together for Flagship)

Pretty sure Bill Roper was also? After Hellgate not doing well and Mythos being sold off before it was even finished that's when Schaefer branched out more by himself I think with Matt Uelmen on board to do music.

Bill went back to Cryptic on his own. (right after Hellgate)

And then he went to China for like, 4-5 years as a "special speaker".

And then he went into Radio.

    *shrugs
And now he's going to be VP of Marvel's games. Which is just sad.

Who knows, Marvel has had some hits, and some misses, all depends on who the dev house is behind them.

Im a comic nerd, so I always hold out hope that a Marvel/DC game will be great. (yup, even Breviks)

There's no real reason to take this personal guys, lets not forget these are just strangers on the internet, i doubt any of us are personal friends.

The interview definitely seems like it was aimed at coaxing negative feedback out of Brevik.

In my opinion though you can't take the all of the positives of D1 and D2 and attribute them to Brevik, just like you can't take all the negatives of D3 and attribute them to Wilson. If Brevik had worked on the game alone who knows if we would have ever gotten a D2 at all. Whole teams worked on all games. Some of the team from Blizzard North went on to become more successful like Max Schaefer and his team, they've shown they have a good grasp at what it takes to make a good ARPG.

Please note how Brevik was the ONLY one left out of Schaefer and Co.s new studio.............. (when they were all together for Flagship)

    Just saying.

Sounds great, BUT the problem runs much deeper than the effect the visitors of Diablofans could have, I think.

Only 116 people took part in the Boston Tea Party.

The Boston Tea Party didn't win the war, it only ignited the flame. Also, silly comparison...

Prices will even out eventually. People can post ridiculous prices if they like, they simply won't sell. When they don't sell the price will be lowered, if it wasn't lowered enough... well, around and around we go. Of course prices are inflated right now, it's the shiny new thing. It will fade.

    Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd

    Close thread.
