Man you are so right. While we are at it we should bash and belittle all of the people who cried over hostility too, since they seem to whine A LOT.Quote from Zic

Hope that cow level is a troll attempt because those models look like complete dog shit. Also it is a pretty big slap to the face and a disgrace to Diablo series to have ponies and pink bears in the secret level.
Keep in mind that this is a preview from an early beta of a model viewer, models will look much better in game and aren't even designed to be displayed in full screen outside of the game in the first place.
It is what it is, can't be worse then the chicken level in Dungeon Siege. I just wanted a more traditional Cow level, yea it was goofy but it wasn't a slap to the face of some of the community. Just because we wanted a darker looking Diablo doesn't mean we should get poked at and make a joke of by the developer with retarded shirts or this garbage invading the game. It just reminds me of the kids who say "YOU MAD?". Yes Blizzard, I am mad.
Good, it's meant to poke fun at people who whine about the game being too light. Get over it. The cow level in D2 had cows, upright, saying moo monotonously. It was silly shit.

I did not. But I only put perhaps 50 hours into the game during our internal testing. I'm looking forward to having a bit better luck, and playing many, many, many more hours after May 15th." -

Adon posted a message on Official BradyGames Diablo 3 Strategy Guide Preview (Inferno Monster Stats, Monster Affixes, Achievements)Interesting. The inferno numbers sure are daunting, but I am not easily swayed. Ill reserve judgment till I get there, it does make me almost double think my 2 week deal though, but well see.Posted in: News

I didn't read the whole thing but what I am guessing is that he meant Diablo 3 is more meant for co-op. Diablo 1 was definitly not designed as a co-op game at heart. It had it yes, but it wasn't their main trait of the game. Diablo 2 now, again even according to Blizzard there are many many people who didn't play on Bnet and only played single player. So I would even categorize D2 as a solo game with again tacked on multiplayer. D3 is more co-op and multiplayer based then the others and has been designed that way from day 1.Quote from UberN00b
And wait a minute, Jay just said in the video that Diablo was always meant to be co-op.
Didn't someone from Blizzard say somewhere else that Diablo has been focused on single-player but that multi-player was an afterthought basically?
So confused...

I believe so, if it had to do with Warcraft I wasn't interested and I didn't pay enough attention back in D1 days to know of any betas. Hell it was coincidence that I even got D2 on launch with some great luck ha. -

Well first off, it isn't the players responsibility to play the game as "intended". If the developer can't create a game that is fun and insightful to play it as "intended" then that is on them.Quote from Benegesserit

Nah, he should of said farmable in his first response. Beating the game once is NP. Farming it convincingly is something else, what I and many others said was that we can beat it within 2 weeks, not farm it and yet we were all called retarded and ignorant ha.
Depends on your definition of "NP". Cheating? Or not riding on the coattails of broken code. If people can beat it w/o Blizzard saying anything was used that they have to patch to fix because it was broken within a few weeks, then yes, Bashiok and Blizzard failed at their claim, otherwise, no. I won't give credit to cheaters.
The interesting thing is that I hear people say "play the game it was intended" vs mod threads but will also say that it's not the player's responsibility to play the game as intended when it comes to issues like this. Naturally it's the same hypocrites who would resort to cheating to make the game easier.
Also I won't need any glitches or hacks or exploits to win. It is very simple, 3 barbarians and a monk should and will be able to steam roll all of the content. I have no doubt in my mind of that. -

Obvious statement about Inferno is obvious. World firsts of pretty much any kind ALWAYS involve some sort of unintended exploit or "clever use of game mechanics". This is why I don't play competitive games online (at least not taken seriously). The real game is always who can break the code the most w/o getting in trouble (a lot easier when you're an anonymous presence on the internet). First to level cap, first all achievements earned, first inferno diablo kill...all of it will involved some extremely broken ability, exploit, etc basically something Blizzard will end up patching quickly. This ALWAYS happens. Any scrupulous player never has a chance at these sort of things. It's disgusting and it's why I only may take competitive things seriously when I play with just friends.

Where are all of you people who called me and many others retarded for saying we could clear Inferno in 2 weeks? Even your famed Bashiok and Blizzard are trying to take their comments back.
To be fair I'm sure he wanted to clarify that point earlier, but beating Inferno the way the devs intended their skills and mechanics to work is still on the table for them thinking it will take a long time to clear. Naturally exploiters will change the rules of the game. Really all he needed to add in previous statements about the epic difficulty were words:
", excluding exploiters."

Adon posted a message on Diablo III Armor Set Previews, Buying Items and the RMAH, Monster Melee Range, Blue Posts, PremiumMmm I don't like that monster melee thing if it is what I think it is. If I can't manually dodge in and out of monsters attacks like D2 and they will hit me regardless of where I am before their attack actually hits then that is going to piss me off. I hate games that do that, like every MMO for instance where something dumb is smacking me 20 feet away over a hill and behind a rock. I liked the ability to manuver my character around attacks in D2 and hope you can do same in D3.Posted in: News

I love how all of you guys are talking about hardcore like you are hardcore, yet whine and complain about PK and hostility ha.
I don't think there should be any easier method implemented for HC characters, maybe Leoric is the only boss that traps you, in which case not a big deal. I doubt they will make every boss a Duriel moment where you have a great chance of being suprised and wrecked especially since you should know the game before playing HC.

If they were to put it in though, it should be either an unlimited tower or a very tall one. With boss fights inbetween and have everything get gradually harder. Maybe add a store option to buy health globes or buffs, ect. Last level if there was 1 should be like every boss on inferno and mobs.

Also you are telling me adding 1 more person to get a full cast would make it so unmanageable and unplayable but 4 won't? Yea you have to account for the mobs and the auras, but let's look at it this way: Are the monsters spamming spells like players? Youll see more chaotic shit happen in a 4v4(Better for you buddy?) then you would in a 4 player co-op match against biggest mobs in game I guarantee that.
Unless these monsters are spell slinging animation hogging special effect masters, it won't be unmanageable.

Im sure the game will be difficult at the later stages, but don't be so blind to think it is unbeatable even early on.

I think a kick system should be in place, that way if someone gets mouthy you can get rid of em, kinda like in Diablo 2 with hostility.
As far as drops go when kicked, could make all drops in radius of you teleport to a secondary inventory when you join a new game it pops up like in GW and asks if you want to keep any of it.

- This guy worked mostly on the battle.net yes, are you trying to imply that Bnet didn't have an impact on Diablo and that Jay Wilson doesn't do anything with Bnet?

Oh, its a tool, meant to help make life easier by smashing nails, ect in.
That is not a killing device, or a weapon, that is a tool used to make life easier.
As a mini game...you can pry nails out with its backend
Wait...you mean I can kill you with this said tool? NO WAI!?
I can spew blind ignorant stuff too. Game is PvE based yes, that is not the question. The question is: Is there a right and a wrong way to play? You play differently then me, who is wrong? Answer is no one.
